The unanimous praise and acclaim for Irrella on Twitter

Ella did make me laugh in the roast I can’t deny that. But I still really want Krystal to take the win. The weird narrative that she’s nothing more than a fashion queen is so weird and manufactured when she’s shown so many times she can try her hand at a lot of different challenges and excel!

I was hoping for more interaction with the rest of the queens during the roast, but I guess we get that next week.

I totally agree, Krystal for her age has literally had a go at all the challenges! What’s most endearing of all is even when she flops.. she’s cute!

The editing of the last episode definitely painted Krystal into third place which is a nightmare. Both Ella or Kitty would be the worst winner of any version of the show for me.

Kitty is yet to make me laugh outside of recycled memes.

The way my cat bombed for the exit when we all screamed. It almost made me want to pay my TV license! The roast was serving audible laughter in between Kitty's "sweedarts!" and Ella's old mother hubbard drag. Ella did do pretty well but nothing was funnier than her gloating about that human hair wig for the judges to drag it into smithereens. Pure comedy!

Agree with what's been said about Krystal. The editing this episode was so weird and suddenly gave her the loser edit.

They spent weeks 1-6 hyping her up as the winner with Ru even telling her that she was born for drag. Then in Episode 7, which should have been her redemption win after being in the Bottom 3 for Snatch Game, she gets completely overlooked and basically sidelined by the edit from there on out.

Come to think about it... I feel like Ru giving her that praise was her siren song on this season. I thought it predicted her as the winner at the time, but thinking about it now, it could also be seen as Ru wishing her well on the rest of her drag journey.

I’m simultaneously at a place where I think Ella has pretty much deserved all her badges, especially this week where she was surprisingly great, and thinking she just does not say winner at all, and especially less than the other two, even though she has performed better across the board. I just can’t picture her with the crown.

(I even liked her runway)

There's something about Ella's drag that feels almost...academic?

Like she's here to understand the brief, tick the right boxes and hopefully get the best marks, but there's no real passion or unique point of view to be seen.

She feels like the season's most sensible drag queen but if that's now the mark of a Drag Race winner, I fear the franchise has kind of lost its way.
