La Voix's wet Diana runway was her winning moment for me - her runways were never really stellar but I don't think any of the younger queens would even know the reference or have the balls to go out and get wet like that

Agreed.

I said it some pages back but i think it bears repeating: The show has become so formulaic now that it’s easy for the more calculated queens to study the show, learn what Ru likes, and then just deliver that. This is all I could think whenever Kyran was on screen.

Her talent show performance is a good example. It’s just recycling of the kooky / weird schtick that Willow Pill and Jimbo did that Ru absolutely ate up. It got praised to the high heavens by the judges because it’s not been seen on a UK season before but it’s nothing new or original in the bigger scheme of things, in fact it’s tired at this point.

I feel like Kyran played the game to impress Ru but she (and the producers) forgot there’s an audience at home that also has to fall in love with you.

Oh absolutely. I think Kyran definitely observed well and got rewarded for it, whereas it can go the other way like Plane Jane who has obviously studied Drag Race to a tee, but forgot to show more of her ‘self’ rather than the character.

I don't think La Voix should go back to a Vs the world.

I wouldn't be mad seeing her on Global though providing they sort out the problems of the first season. I think she would be an excellent representation of British drag.

Kyran is obnoxious. Poor La Voix.

Kyran is lovely. I really thought they were great throughout the season. But that finale runway was awful.

Rileasa looked phenomenal in that runway.

Lill is my absolute favourite from this season.

I feel like this is the most "wrong" decision in...a long, long time. Kyran's fine, but La Voix is a juggernaut.

I enjoyed Kyran throughout but damn I really thought La Voix had it in the bag!

Oh well, surely she’ll pop up on another season soon. Global All Stars? US All Stars? I honestly think she’s too good for a Vs the World season (still such a weird spin off).

Lil is iconic and I want her back for another season in the future too.

For a split second I thought she was going to say "Enjoy the money, I hope it makes you very happy. Dear Lord, what a sad little life, Kyran" ddd. (But then again it wouldn't be very La Voix to say that, to be fair.)

One of my favourite things about La Voix's run is how effective it's been as a ten-week advertisement for what to expect from a La Voix show. You know you're going to get quality and she's going to have no problem selling tickets to a tour now that she's shown such a wide audience what she can do. It's just a shame she doesn't have the £25,000 as the cherry on top.

As someone who loved Lily Savage, I really want La Voix to be at the same level of fame and exposure. It's disappointing she didn't win, but Kyran winning wasn't a massive surprise although that last look was not a winner. I loved Lill too, she looked so adorable in that clown outfit last week.

La Voix would make an excellent host of Blankety Blank! Watching Lily present that is such a core childhood memory. Her reading Siobhan and Kyran and the other queens after the finale.was absolute gold.
