I hate to say it (she’s been wallpaper all series) but as a Nigella stan… I absolutely LOVED that and can now accept an undeserved win in the final against middling competition even if she goes back to being forgettable again next week onwards.

Laurence was literally in the same (or worse) position and still won (even with the awful edit). Ru completely falling over herself over Krystal saying how proud she was she’s found herself already has practically guaranteed she’ll win.
Krystal’s winning this season, it will be good for the U.K. version to have a fashion queen win adds a point of difference to the previous winners.
As much as I have found Ella boring this season she really delivered an amazing Snatch Game she was head & shoulders above the rest.
Can’t believe how much Vanity is coasting if they had cast more black queens this season she would have been an early out. I do find it ridiculous with how multi cultural the U.K. drag scene is we only got 1 black Queen this season, show us real representation BBC not just a token.

Krystal's 'fashion' has felt mainly like rehashes of other queens looks, she doesn't really have references outside of the show. They can praise her for mediocre but surprising challenge performances all they like, she would stand out in a painful way in the winners circle.

Good point I would say what annoys me more is that I see glimmers of greatness in Vanity but it’s like she can’t push through and allow herself to truly shine.

I may be misremembering but I'm sure I read somewhere that the casting for season three helped determine who won season two?
The producers are also coasting.
Canada’s Drag Race is THE best series of the franchise in a very long time. And just makes you realise how much having Ru and Michelle Visage in their roles holds back the UK version.
I’m hoping Rupaul retires soon and takes Michelle with her. They’re completely redundant at this point.
This season could have been amazing. But on top of losing one of the frontrunners right at the beginning due to an injury, production has made some strange choices. Sending home Veronica the same episode Victoria left, the double Shantay, the double Sashay: It has all just been an amalgamation of messery. And not in the good kind.
I gotta say tho, the "no one is winning twist" in Episode 5 was delicious. Those Ads (no matter what injustices went on behind the scenes) were a mess and no one (not even River or Vanity imo) deserved a badge for that.
It will be interesting to see how the coming weeks play out. After Ru's speech to Krystal this episode, it seems like she has the win in the bag, but having her two challenge wins right at the very start of the season (and likely not having any more top placements until the end) won't have her reach the finale with the best track record. And if Kitty wins both episode 7 & 8 (which I hope she does), Krystal will finish with the worst overall track record out of the Top 3. That being said, I do really enjoy her and would absolutely not mind her winning.

I forwarded to the lip sync because I'm about to go out. The tea was wrong. It was the Vanity vs Scarlett to Scandalous with Scarlett leaving. So the season could be shorter then we think.
Looks like the tea mixed up episode 7 & 8 so next week should be the non elimination
