S Club 7 Reunion

If S Club 7 were to do any sort of release again I think it'd be nice to do 7 solo songs and 5 group songs. That way they can do their own stuff and still maintain some sort of press/following. People seemed to really love the solo stuff on tour. If not, Rachel and Hannah, please, stat.

It's sad that this reunion was so half-hearted. Everything was done on the cheap. I wonder why that was?

But I think they are right to leave it at that. These acts reform for nostalgic purposes only. What could S Club 7 bring to pop in 2015? Why ruin their legacy? Well more than this shoestring budget comeback alreayd did.

I think as a fan, you're right to be disappointed, but as someone who has casually observed this very short lived reunion I don't think they've tarnished anything. Believe me, many members of the public will remember them performing on Children In Need (ironically the most impactful event in people's minds is probably the silhouette in your avatar!) and that's it in a couple of years. At least the door is left open for a joint Here&Now tour with A1, Sarah Whatmore and Scooch when their fan base reach mid 30's and 40's.

Plus, there still seems to be some mileage in the whole thing if the Loose Women thing is anything to go by.

Trashy day time TV talk show does not mean there's mileage in it at all. It just means you are or were vaguely relevant

And it certainly doesn't equal demand.

Not having a documentary was a wasted opportunity, even if it was just a 'behind the scenes of the tour' lasting 25 mins and airing on Channel 5 in between Big Brother or something.

The two links you posted hardly back up your claims. Atomic Kitten were there to promote the big reunion and the tour and The Saturdays for their single. What can S Club promote now? Although the appearance has been cancelled now, it's looking to be rescheduled going by Jon's tweet so I do think there's something else in the pipeline.

If they dug deep I think they could've had the best shot of a successful reunion if they put a lot of clout into an original TV comedy.

The dreary lives of 7 ex-pop stars. Hull 7 or something. BBC 3 would jump on something like that surely? Steps did so well because of the documentary and S Club could've one upped them. It is a shame it was so half arsed.

A grown up version of the kids shows would have been amazing if done right.

Her ex-boyfriend hacked her twitter account this morning saying that she has a painkiller addiction and he spent 10 months looking after her after she had an allergic reaction to silicone in her breast implants. You couldn't make this up.
