S Club 7 - RIP Paul Cattermole <3

I love Tina but I remember on the last tour she just looked like a dear in headlights for the most part on stage. Even when she spoke to the crowd, it was awkward.

She's good here mind.

She's still a bit like that when I saw her on the 90 Pop Baby Tour with Bradley and Stacey.

Is this an old picture? If not looks like Brad done got in shape

He’s very into his fitness now - which will bode well on tour but sadly make Paul look even worse.
Jon was in great shape on the last tour but I noticed on some footage Paul looked… clumsy and I don’t want to be mean to him cos I know he had comments in the past about being the “fat, heavy footed one” and I know not everyone loves the dancing side of things.

Claire from Steps notoriously hates dancing
Several members of Little Mix have expressed their hatred of it with Perrie even threatening to quit the group at one point

I had such a thing for Paul back in the day.

Honestly part of why Paul's fall from grace is so bad is because in the LA 7 era he was definitely the Hot One and his voice was pretty decent. I seem to remember him coming across as a bit of an arsehole in interviews unfortunately, and tbh his social media posts make for pretty grim reading and are enough to make me not particularly want him back in the band. Hasn't Bradley also posted some dodgy stuff? Childhood heroes getting on Twitter never seems to end well for anyone!

As fickle as it is yes Paul doesn't "look" like a typical popstar anymore but what puts me off him is the fact he doesn't seem to want to be, he quit the band because he wanted to be a "rock star" that flopped. Everything he's tried to do since has basically flopped so he's going back to the band again even though all he did after the last reunion was just slag them all off .
I appreciate we all have to earn a living and that's literally why the other 6 will be doing this but it really does leave a bad taste in my mouth having him rejoin them and unfortunately it's a different kind of 'taste in my mouth' than what I'd have liked from "LA7 Paul".

I agree, it feels like a cash grab from him. Unfortunately having such a big group probably just makes it more likely that these kinds of issues happen. They were also *so* young when the group were formed. Compare them to the Spice Girls or Steps in terms of age and no wonder things went how they did. To be honest Simon not being a bigger pop villain is a bit surprising because it's clear he ruled with an iron fist over the lives of what was a bunch of teenagers in order to exploit them for his bank account. It just leaves for a sadder legacy.
