I know its not a great song but I kind of wish we could get a full 6-piece rendition of Family. Would be a fitting tribute, I think.
I’ve kinda Stockholm syndromed myself into quite liking it now - but definitely not up to their usual calibreI think someone in this thread mentioned that it was recorded by the whole group for the last reunion but nothing ever happened with it. So I did wonder if we’ll hear that at some point. Cant say I’m a huge fan of that song though, mostly because of the chorus.
Rylan played Never Had A Dream and Natural at the start of his Radio 2 show todayHave there been any tributes on Lorraine or This Morning? I can’t watch at the moment.
Yep they all recorded it originally.I think someone in this thread mentioned that it was recorded by the whole group for the last reunion but nothing ever happened with it. So I did wonder if we’ll hear that at some point. Cant say I’m a huge fan of that song though, mostly because of the chorus.
What’s the time code for Paul’s line? I tried to find it yesterday out of curiosity but had no luckAs much as Let Me Sleep is sad the sentiment of the song is actually really comforting now. I’m so glad they left Paul’s vocals on it too. I’ll be using it a lot. What a song!

Yep that’s it.2:35 (in my dreams I’m with you). I think it’s that anyway?
He wrote on Straight From The Heart but I don’t think his vocals are in the mix. That’s just Bradley and Jon on the pre-chorus I think.I've always been curious where the cut off was. What songs was Paul present for and what songs were recorded after his departure?
Clearly Alive and Let Me Sleep, obviously.
Speaking of Paul’s lines, I’m glad they handed Jo’s middle 8 in You’re My Number One to him on tour.
Just listen to the difference in his voice between the first and last show.
Weird I never watched the full You’re My Number One performance because I thought it was completely mimed. Very random for Paul to take the middle 8 and then Jo goes back to miming her adlibs.
I think at the time, Jo was heavily smoking and her vocals were damaged because of it. I remember clips of her during the S Club 3 nightclub phase and her voice cracking or sounding weak - I imagine it was handed to Paul as Jo could not vocally maintain the performance. If I remember correctly Jo didn’t sing live on the reunion tour until Two In a Million, no?
