No, that's bullshit. She was not a star; she's a likable girl who can sing, but she has as much X-Factor as chalk. Louis could have given her a Bjork or Kylie song, and she would sound and perform the same way she always does.

She's more of a 'star' than half the remaining contestants will ever be, and it was simply not her time to go. If she had been given a chance to do something in keeping with her personality instead of just treating her like the token "bigger girl" on the show I reckon we would have seen a new side to her.

For me Misha, Rhythmix and Kitty are the only relevant people left in the game. They know how to be pop stars. I like Johnny and Janet too, but not in the same way.

She said she loves Jane MacDonald. She was doing the music she likes and would have been comfortable with if Gary hadn't drawn attention to the fact it's dated and cabaret.

I think she could have gone further if Gary hadn't made such a big deal out of her being dated, but I still don't think any judge could turn her into a genuine X Factor star.

I thought it was far more interesting that Tulisa wanted to keep her over Kitty. Tulisa always looks really uncomfortable when Kitty is on stage, and I can't think of any decent reason for it, except for some irrational hatred of female wannabe pop stars who know how to perform like actual pop stars.

Sami could have survived had Louis picked her songs post-2000 and taken her somewhere different. She did say that she wrote out a list of 20 rock songs for Louis but that he still wouldn't change his mind.
