It's obvious the whole 'least votes' was due to people just thinking they were safe and sending all their rescue votes to Frankie. Especially if the response on Twitter is anything to go by. It's clear that if anyone besides The Risk are brought back the show will be a mockery.

Well, that's the audience fault then. If they didn't bother to vote they don't deserve the Risk.
I'm sure more acts have become the victim of things like this through the years.
But the concept has always been: people vote, the ones with the least votes go home. Changing the rules just because you don't like the outcome is a bit of a joke as well.

If people genuinely liked The Risk, they should've voted. The show works on people's votes so no explanation needed for The Risk's elimination. Janet had less-than-stellar performances in the past two weeks but she's still there. It's because her supporters are voting for her.

They won't be back, but it would be hilarious considering theyve each been rejected and brought back at least half a dozen times.

If someone from the first week is brought back, the competition would be so unfair. Why would anyone besides The Risk be allowed back in? They deserve it the most. Talent over antics would be great, but the fact that they were even eliminated proves things aren't right in the water.

I don't disagree that bringing someone back from the first week would be utterly stupid, and a kick in the face to the other acts. The reason that the Risk wouldn't, and shouldn't be allowed back is, I repeat: the public didn't vote for them. How on earth can it be justified having them come back to the show when someone else was also eliminated and got more votes than them? That is unfair too!

This might be a talent competition, but at the end of the day it's voted for by the viewing public. We can't blame the show for the actions of the voters.

The four who were eliminated in the first week have never faced the public vote. James Michael has a bigger chance of getting back than The Risk since Gary lost an act. The Risk had the fewest votes and it not justifiable for them to be back.

So by extension it's only fair that the last act eliminated, the act who came closest to being there in their own right, should return, right? (Assuming anyone returns.)

And that's Johnny.

The Risk were the second to last act eliminated. It's that simple. If you can't accept things not going your side's way then I can only suggest you stop watching anything with a competitive aspect.

Personally, I think a 2 act final seems far and away the fairest and most entertaining option but I can't see them passing up the drama of a return and a third duet in the final.

In a TV executive point of view this is actually an opportunity to get high ratings. I won't be surprised by a wildcard.

Plus 3 acts probably means more people calling and tuning in.

Exactly, so The Risk, Misha, and Marcus. Anybody else just wouldn't 'work' for the viewers. With '#BringBackTheRisk' trending, and them filming the charity single video tomorrow, I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of them on The X Factor. Which is apparently welcomes by everyone if the response is anything to go by. They deserve it, so I'm not surprised.

Which is why Little Mix, Janet and Craig haven't been in the bottom since public voting started? The viewers know who would work for them because they'll vote for the acts they like. The Risk got the least votes so there.

Are you part of the band or something? The Risk were nothing special, and considering they received the lowest votes last week, and were eliminated fair and square, there's not a hope in hell that they're coming back.

They have a lot of things lined up, so I have feeling this won't be the last time we hear from them at all. True talent will always triumph joke shows. Not delusional, just real.

Delusional stans won't change that.

Nice name-calling. Although...

DON'T use the word 'stan' or otherwise attempt to belittle reasonable points made by reasonable fans.

Well if that's the case they don't even need to come back.
