I really do think his time on the x factor will have a spillover affect. The mother used to love him, but now totally despises him to the extent that ive been told not to buy any Take That related Christmas presents.

Yes, I agree. I don't think I'll ever look at him the same after this show. Obviously, a lot of people in showbiz are horrible human beings, but usually they at least pretend.

I hate to say this, but I agree with this. It actually saddens me. I have never felt as uncomfortable being a fan of someone as I do now with this whole Gary/X Factor thing.
He came across so well during the early TT4 days: he always seemed warm, personable, funny and (dare I say it) humble, down to earth and self-aware. I think the success of the reunion has changed him for the worse. Everything that used to be likeable about him seems to have gone out of the window. It's like he has done a complete 180, his current behaviour is just incomprehensible to me. In the past he always seemed very guarded and inoffensive, so I have no idea what the hell is going on here.

I'm the opposite. I could never stand Take That and Gary Barlow but I've quite liked him on X-Factor. I still wouldn't buy a Take That album though.

Oh and I thought Gary was partially right on Amelia shouting and I say that as someone who likes her a lot.

She needs to tone it down several decibels.

There is no way in hell that Little Mix are not No1 by a country mile on the public vote.

But what is this based on exactly? Given who the acts are pitched at, their fans likely overrepresented in internet polls and on Twitter compared to Janet and Marcus. When you look at stuff like iTunes ratings and Youtube views that a wider range of people contribute to, Janet's coming out ahead of them every time. None of these are perfect proxies, of course, but I'd be interested in exactly why you think it's so obvious Little Mix is 1st.
