Mutya B Misha B looked like a garish hooker tonight. Shame on the X Factor stylists. That jacket might be Versace but neon leopard print is never a good look with those nails...

Anyway, what a great result. I'm surprised that the British public have been so wise for a change. If Janet and Misha are next out we might be left with possibly the best X Factor final 3 ever, which considering how horrible this series has been is a fantastic result all round.

I reckon when the voting results are released it will turn out Little Mix were just above the bottom nearly every week. I'm not saying that to be negative, I think it's pretty impressive they haven't been in the bottom 2 yet.

She looked like some old woman who lives in a trailer somewhere in the middle of America.

I predict
5. Misha B
4. Amelia
3. Little Mix
2. Marcus
1. Janet

Yes. I think Janet is still pretty far ahead of everyone else in the public vote.

There is no way in hell that Little Mix are not No1 by a country mile on the public vote.
But what is this based on exactly? Given who the acts are pitched at, their fans likely overrepresented in internet polls and on Twitter compared to Janet and Marcus. When you look at stuff like iTunes ratings and Youtube views that a wider range of people contribute to, Janet's coming out ahead of them every time. None of these are perfect proxies, of course, but I'd be interested in exactly why you think it's so obvious Little Mix is 1st.

Its my overall feeling, everybody who comments on X factor picks out Little Mix as the standout act.

Even just tonight driving, on 2 different radio stations, every time X factor comes up, so does little mix, nobody else gets a mention.

I'm watching Xtra Factor on ITV2 +1...

I like to think the Tulisa/Kelly hug was filled with such deep-seated hate between the two of them that no hug could ever bring them truly together.

Also...Louis: "Amelia is like a little Christina Aguilera". A very shadey jab at Fat-tina, Mr Walsh?

Did anyone see that moment where Louis tried to say "Caroline, I know what calendar you'll be buying this year" (One Direction's) except he got tongue tied and had to repeat the "joke" three times and called her Carol instead in the process, then when he finally got it out it was literally dead silence in the audience with Louis howling with laughter by himself. Classic.

With all the bile thrown at Gary in this thread, I had to have a look at what he said to Amelia that was so terrible.

"I thought you shouted your way through that performance."

Really? Fair enough if you don't like Gary, but he hardly compared her to Hitler.

Godwin's Law!

It was more that he said it when deciding who to choose after the sing off, and it's just not the 'done thing' to criticise an act so blatantly at that point in the show. I don't know how else to explain it. When a contestant might be about to leave, nobody normally says 'You're shit' at that point. Salt in the wound and all that.

I think it's a matter of respect. It's the done thing for the judge to commend the person they're going to send home for their efforts on the show hitherto that point, to send them home with their head held high. There's really no need to kick someone when they're down.

Also, Rebecca Ferguson and Shaun Ryder are being totally useless on the Xtra Factor.

I don't think it's that he criticised her, it was more the absolutely petty way in which he did it. He's a grown up, and for someone who goes on and on about "tactical critique", it was a bit rich.

I'm patiently waiting for the moment when Barlow completely loses his cool live on TV.

He's looked dangerously close on several occasions. He really is like a baby throwing toys out of the pram.

It was the way he said it as though Amelia had personally insulted both himself and Craig by merely existing in the same space. That's what pissed me off - and I was fairly ambivalent as to who I wanted to go before that.

Well, Craig is obviously his golden boy, and he was probably angry to see him the bottom two.

He wasn't the first to criticize someone in that position though, and that's my point. I remember several times last year when Dannii would tell Katie she was never very good during the live shows, but somehow pulled it out of the bag during the sing-off. A back-handed compliment if I've ever heard one.

Seeing as his act got the boot shortly after, Gary landed up with egg smeared all over his smug face however if Amelia had been sent home it would have been unnecessarily harsh on her.

Gary acted out of desperation and if he watches the show back he'll cringe at that moment I think.

Best deadlock result ever.

Janet is going to win.

Rihanna was a joke.

She'd really better not. Until tonight I hoping for a 1) Misha B 2) Craig 3) Little Mix finish.

The thing is, I don't now ANYONE who likes Janet. Sure I can think of people who dislike every contestant but I can't see who the hell is voting for her asides from the whole of Ireland on speed-dial.

Rihanna was indeed sub-par vocally. Surprisingly unimpressed.
