Saint Etienne

The Night is definitely much more of a grower than anything else in their catalogue but I think it’s stunning, my favorite album of theirs since words and music. Looking forward to hearing the rest of the remixes!

After Words and Music which is peak StEt for me, Home Counties felt like a lot of average songs, most of which wouldn’t get on an album in the past.
Subsequent albums have felt like fan club collections - great to have but not exactly repeat listen albums. I’ve actually enjoyed more tracks on the various eps
Agree with all of this, especially as Words And Music is one of, if not my favourite Ets album.

Anyway, painless ordering process. What a wonderful experience for one of their releases!

That was joyous. I missed my 5pm alarm as I had a post work snooze but was still able to order my cd single with blissful ease. Hoorah. Take note for the next album release please!!

Oh and I’m with you about Words… - marvellous album.

While I’m on a StEt listen, what is the release date for the cd single that was preordered at end of February? Is it confirmed yet?

Well it took about twenty years but I finally got the ‘missing’ cd single that has been an aggravating gap in my St Et collection. Obviously I’ve had the music from it for years, but it’s been good to get my paws on the actual thing.
DAS GERMANWINGS MIX: Question to British and American native speakers:
When using German articles (der, die, das) do you look it up, which one would be the right one? Or do you take a guess, or use the one that sounds right to you? Or do you make an effort to use the wrong one?
I´m just asking cause it´s almost always the wrong one, like Das Germwings Mix. (it should be "der" in case you were biting your nails).
