I went on Twitter to look for some videos of the first night and there are some really vile people on there. What horrid lives they must live to be so hateful to Sam's body and performance.

The right wing snowflakes have gone all over this on social media and it appears to be stemming from the below tweet. There are some pretty vile insults floating around in the Quote Tweets including some death threats. Why you would go to the show without an awareness of the aesthetic Sam has been pushing this era baffles me, but that’s not the point here.
The right-wing mafia seem to have it in for Sam - and I’m sure it’s not a coincidence that the hate and backlash began when they came out as non-binary. What would their reaction be if Harry Styles or Lewis Capaldi included a ‘Sex’ section on their next tour? Let me guess, they’d lap it up. Worth noting, Lewis Capaldi talks about his w*nking habits on his Instagram stories on an almost daily basis. Have you seen the right wing lot go after him? Imagine the reaction if Sam did similar.
It is an utter joy to see a queer person unashamedly be themselves. If Sam is confident in what they are producing and their fans are enjoying it then what is the problem? Why should Sam need to conform to right-wing standards or make their show suitable for children? Not everything needs to be sanitised to a point where it could be enjoyed by a child. Vile vile people.

Sam does very little for me musically but it feels so wonderful to see them getting their life in big arenas across the country and just being so fabulously queer. Particularly considering the horrible media climate for trans and non-binary folks at the moment. It feels like a protest. And I fucking love it. Long may they slay.

One of the hate accounts I’ve been hounded by lately has been a ride because looking through their posts it was just incessant hate of myself and Sam Smith. It’s a wild descent from an actual famous person to myself, but the intention is clear, trans and trans non-binary folx arent real to these people, but they will still spend their sad little lives harassing us in any way, shape or form. Sam walks down the street, they’re accused of perversion. They, an adult, express themselves on stage, it’s Satanic and predatory. It’s pathetic, but sadly, this is just going to get worse.
I am so sorry you have to experience this. I hope you feel supported and loved in this online space at least. What the fuck is wrong with people like this? I suspect that they are threatened by the authenticity and truth trans, non binary and queer people live in and represent. Their fear and anger is a reflection of their own frustration of living a restricted life under that the pervading gendered/straight/capitalist culture dictates. Sam’s utter queer joy threatens everything they have invested in and they feel like it must be destroyed, they’ve been sold a crock and they can’t cope with it. Well, fuck them, there have been queer heralded and loved performers since the dawn of the arts and they ain’t going anywhere.
I just don't get why people get so angry about someone living their life that they want to. Just show respect and move on with your life.

I’m really excited to see Sam at the O2 tomorrow. Managed to grab last minute tickets, still shook Diamonds didn’t make the setlist though.
I am hoping to get tickets to see them and yes I am still shocked Diamonds didn't make it! Should have replaced Love Goes!

Managed to get tickets to see Sam tomorrow - i'm actually excited now I've seen some costumes, and also THAT Madonna cover... i'm all here for the sex pig segment - it's the most interesting and actually artistic thing they've done for a long time

It's funny this commentary about losing fans and alienating his core / original fan base (of mums) but also - they've now gained a fan (though i'm brown and gay hahahaha)

So tonight was phenomenal, I loved the show and the second half especially really was queer joy. ‘Gimme’ was a moment.
