  6. The cover led me to believe we had a disco ballroom banger on our hands. Sad it’s another ballad.

  8. As someone who only started checking for Sam when they went uptempo (owwww). I wasn’t expecting to love this and end up crying to it this morning.

    It’s brilliant.

  9. Something about the chorus is very...nursery rhyme and I don't care for it. Overall it's less diabolical than their previous ballad singles but nowhere near the quality of what Sam's been giving this era.

  10. This is a bit disappointing... feels slightly regressive. My expectations for the song’s message were very different.

  11. 'You don't leave my miiiind' hasn't left my mind since I've listened. Love their voice.

  12. This feels like a step backwards.

(The verses are nice but the chorus is...)

  13. Sam’s clearly trying to claw back their original audience and I’m sure this will be huge, but I don’t think I’ll ever be here for a Sam Smith ballad. I really hope Dancing With A Stranger and How Do You Sleep weren’t anomalies.

  14. Is that a Donnie Darko snippet at the start?

This... isn’t like their normal ballads?

The melody and vocal production is gorgeous.

  16. I adore this and I love that it's a ballad, in fact.

    A BALLAD????!!?!!

  18. I think the new song is gorgeous, but then again I love ballads, so...
