The song is growing on me but the video is a poor mans Britney/Three. It's bizarre she won a show called X Factor when she has such little screen presence. Watching the video I just thought to myself "this is going to be big in the Australian gay club scene" ie. be lucky to turn a profit. Paulini did the gay aussie market better with Fireman (look it up).

Pretty underwhelming video but the song is still a total smash. Between her, Ricki Lee and Jessica Mauboy, Australian female popstars are really bringing thier A-game of late. Where is the album?

Well I thought that was a pretty solid video clip.

Some of the editing was a bit off with her hand movements being so snappy though. Like I know that's the point but I didn't think it gelled.

Would like to see some more dancing but.

Please don't compare this faceless tinny trash with the divine Ricki Lee album! This song is not fit to polish Ricki's diamonds. Such a shame, she (Sammy) is a star but this song is so weak.

One of the male dancers in clip looks like he's trying to rival Samantha's fierceness. At 1.32 he starts singing and he looks like he was really getting into the patting the breasts dance move!

Still holding pretty steady on itunes at #15 but I think she needs to perform it on another tv show for it to go back into the top 10 again annoyingly

Firestarter is platinum in Australia now, but more importantly, here she is back on The X Factor stage!

Redfoo and Dannii are seriously impressed. Samantha should cement her status in Australia first, but I'd love her to do guest performances on the US and UK shows of The X Factor. She would be amazing!

As much as I love Sammy, that performance was lacking. I think the song may play a part but there was just a lack of energy on stage I felt.

Is Samantha much of a dancer? It feels like she's constantly about to burst into an epic routine, but the set pieces and dancers are wasted on her as she just struts and poses seductively.

Also, maybe it's just due to her accent, but her personality really reminds me of Kylie!

This is the problem unfortunately. I like Samantha and she has delivered two great tracks but I fail to see anything unique in her that will spark an interest overseas. I live in hope that the exposure she gets from playing Kylie in an upcoming Australian telemovie will help her!

I think she is going to be a great popstar but I agree with you about the vocals. She was just a bit over the place.

I think the vocals problem has probably been lack of sleep, she's been jetsetting around performing and her vocals from X Factor Indonesia and in this performance haven't been her best. She can do it though and its clear that she is a star!
