Scream 7 (Feb 27 2026) *SPOILERS*

Supposedly the opening kill is Celeste’s character & Chad and they’re attacked at a diner.

Chad survives apparently. Lolololol
I really enjoy her work so I hope if she does end up being the opening kill that they give her something memorable to work with. I want an opening performance like Drew, Jada or Jenna. I also hope Chad shows some sort of evidence of being stabbed 50 million times. He is long overdue for a Dewey limp.

In other news, Mark talked about Scream 7 on his talk show today. He said he worked with Neve, Courteney and Joel. He said that Kevin Williamson was great to work with and he said that Joel in real life is nothing like when he's appeared on their show in the past. He said that surprised him.

The PR team earning their pay by coaching him clearly.

Now that is easily the most shocking news yet. I still am unable to put the pieces together but I am getting more intrigued by the day.

Scream 3 is a personal favorite of mine and I feel it was Neve Campbell's strongest outing. I also loved Roman and how it tied back to Billy, Stu and Maureen. I can't wait to see what this means.

Not more Ghosts….

This is a shitshow and I love how it gets more awful by the day. We've done the Maureen/Billy story to death by now, we've done the dodgy ghostly apparitions to death by now too, so of course we bring Roman back, because there's no way they will get away with casting him in a different role. Unless they are dumb enough to go down the evil twin route, of course they are.

he/him/his
It may be for flashbacks but whose? Sidney never met him before the end.

I can see them trying to do the Billy ghost thing with Sidneys daughter which ew.

One thought I just had is that Roman was a director and true crime is in now. Perhaps his scenes could be as simple as an interview from the past or something similar to Randy in Scream 3. I will say, if that is the case, it's the perfect opportunity to give us a hilarious Parker Posey cameo in the doc as well.

Weren't all the Scream 7 truthers just buying into the rumor that Kevin was vehemently against Scream 3 and that was the real reason Patrick Dempsey isn't in this versus turning down a shitty script?

Curious whether they're gonna invent a magical twin for Roman or try to sell Sidney being suddenly haunted by her brother she knew for all of 5 minutes 30 years ago after not once mentioning him since because at this point, either seems possible.

Patrick Dempsey is in Thanksgiving. I highly doubt he turned down the film because of a script. I’m sure it was down to money.

This is why I have such faith in the film. I just don’t see Kevin Williamson coming back and giving us garbage when this is his baby. I’m going to continue to trust the process. I also don’t care how it’s credited, I’m convinced his hands will be all over the script.

maybe they are using again something like the voice changer device used on scream 3? Roman's caracter could be used this way. At the time the ideia was a bit out of reach, but the way AI developed these days, It could be used as an plot without seeming so out of element
