Just waiting for these two be confirmed tbh…

I've been doing a re-watch and this time what caught my eye was just what a brilliant job Wes Craven did as well as Marco Beltrami. They were such a strong pair. Craven was a big fan of using unique camera angles from the extreme close ups to the tracking shots and wide shots where there was always something to catch in the background. I feel like Beltrami knew how to take what was on the screen and really squeeze as much suspense out of each sequence as possible.

I would love of Beltrami came back to score this film. I also hope Kevin is studying Wes' work or at the very least can give us his own unique perspective to the look of the film. I feel like movies can look so flat right now and I'm hoping we don't have that here. Wes had such a way of heightening the suspense and the emotion of every scene that I'd love to come back.

I'mma just say that any mention or allusion to AI isn't wise, cool, or an exclusive "know". It's the laziest form of narrative storytelling but also pivoting. I cannot imagine how a film could be stupider. It's become the very film that it was meant to subvert.

Scream 4 - the sequel

It all boils down to "We lost a lot of fans when we fired Melissa for being a good person. How can we win back people and try to cover up our mistake? OH lets bring back old cast members who have nothing else going on and use AI to have them appear again!"
The fact that it seems to actually be working on some people online is...well stupid attracts stupid.

This. I saw a tweet the other day where somebody was saying that because Roman was a Hollywood director he could have got somebody to implant a metal plate into his forehead and so he didn't actually die when Dewey shot him. That was enough internet for me for the day.

We've gone from people complaining about how many times Chad was stabbed to people bending over backwards to explain how every killer could have survived. And of course, if it was joking then fine, but a lot of these people are very serious that all these killers have been hiding out somewhere for years, just waiting to strike again.

I'd like to hope they don't have any killer be alive. I feel like these feels have such a strong continuity that you can't justify not mentioning if a killer survived. Wouldn't that person be the new Ghostface's #1 idol if they were able to do this and either get away or somehow survive? Not to mention that would be the survivors first thought when the new attacks start.

One thing that I do like about this cast is that they have potential to showcase the mystery element more since the cast is so large. I hope it's not another film where the killers are obvious and underwhelming.

There are just far too many people in this movie for any kind of plot to work out. And too many new characters to actually have time for them all to get a decent bit of story and development.
6 did a brilliant job of having just enough new characters to let them develop and breath, and still let us get to know the returnees more too.

So wait…

According to Spy Glass, Mel is antisemitic for speaking up for Gaza yet Eli Roth defending a nazi salute is fine and can still keep his job?

For those boycotting scream, I’d encourage you to boycott Thanksgiving too (if you aren’t already)
