After going platinum with her last big single “Naturally,” Selena Gomez & The Scene are set to debut their next new single “Who Says,” and are bringing it exclusively to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” to world premiere.

Gomez will join Ryan in studio on Thursday, March 10 to unveil the first single from the band’s upcoming album, set to hit stores on June 28.

In the press release issued Wednesday, Hollywood Records says the song is an up-tempo anthem of self-empowerment and will be available for download on March 14.

Gomez has already shot the video for “Who Says” which was directed by Chris Applebaum, the creative brain behind Rihanna‘s “Umbrella” and Miley Cyrus‘ “Party In The U.S.A.” videos.

Earlier this month she tweeted,”Just wrapped the music video for my next single! Thank you to all of the amazing fans that came out can’t wait for y’all to see it!”

The video is set to premiere on the Disney Channel on March 11.

Gomez will make appearances on “The Late Show with David Letterman” and “Ellen” in March to perform the song live.

Disappointed there's no more singles from A Year Without Rain, but if we get another album good quite soon then I can't compalin.

Jesus christ, Disney/Hollwood Records move from album campaigns quickly. A Year Without Rain was a solid pop album, surely they could have squeezed another hit from it? Round & Round was a poor choice of lead single.

Hollywood is the worst label out there. Worse than Parlophone or J Records. Seriously awful. They never seem to get past two singles. It's outright embarrassing. Must be run by a load of amateurs - the sad thing being that we as amateurs also could probably do a much better job.

Hollywood Records are a pile of shite, I firmly believe that Miley Cyrus could be a worldwide music superstar on any other record label...

Anyway, I hope this song is good. Another 'Naturally' would be nice. The news that she's been working with Dr. Luke is exciting too! If she is doing a new album, a Nicki Minaj feature is now a must.

To be fair, it's rare for a Hollywood Records act to have a real 'hit' single,

See You Again, Party In The USA, The Climb (which is technically Walt Disney Records) and Burnin' Up are the only ones which did particularly well on the Hot 100, that I can think of.

Selena and Demi haven't even had a top 10, I think they both need a Climb/PITUSA 'proper hit' to become real big sellers and I think it's safe to say if A Year Without Rain didn't do it, nothing else on the album would have.

Demi did at least manage a No.1 album though. Sigh, I want Selena to be more successful, I love her way too much but I don't care, she's amazing.

Super excited for new music, she did say on twitter we'd hear new music this year so hopefully the album will drop about September time.

Do people (other than her preteen fanfabase) actually like Selena as a popstar though? It has to be said that the girl has absolutely no stage presence when she performs. Both Demi and and Miley have confidence, own the stage and don't look like an awkward stiff.

I'm not even gonna start on her vocals, which I would describe as nothing. I like A Year Without Rain (the song) but that's about it.

Vocally, I'm in the same place that I am with Cheryl's. She can sing and when she sings well it's good but when she doesn't do well... oh dear. But she has a really gorgeous tone to her voice that's pleasant to listen to.

And performance wise, she's improved so much since her debut. There's still a long way to go and a lot left to be desired but as long as she's having fun and improving, I'm not going to complain.

I don't treat her/criticize her the way I do other popstars like Gaga, Britney, Christina etc because this isn't her primary career, acting is, music she is doing on the side whereas the other I mentioned before do the whole Popstar thing as a career. Flimsy excuse I know, but it's just the way my head works.

That makes a lot of sense, I never thought of it like that. I feel she has some decent songs but could be better utilized if they were given to stronger singers.

are you crazy? NO! NO WAY!! No stupid rapper features if she working on a new album. Her first album was solid pop. Half of her second album was amazing, the other half was alright. That song with a rapper was utter shite!

Well, that was a surpise. She looks gorgeous but that little snippet is so different to anything I expected. I hope she doesn't give up on songs like Naturally, Off The Chain etc.
