“Soltera” is, for the moment, a standalone single, though it will soon be included on…something Shakira is working on. Just months after she delivered her latest album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, she’s hard at work on what she calls a new “project,” though so far, not much is known about whatever she’s cooking up in the studio.

Maybe an EP? She hasn’t done something like that but I could see her recording and putting together 3-4 new songs to push the era a little further along the tour, the album was DOA.

I mean, how could her or her team expect anything to happen with the album when half of it was released already and what was left was pretty sub par. It's the very definition of a "collection of songs".

I saw her live on the Oral Fixation and Sun Comes Out tours and she’s a magnetic performer. The way she commands the room with just herself on the stage, that’s mother. Though her concerts do tend to be greatest hits tours more than focused on the last album!

Finally was able to get a nice ticket at the end of the catwalk for the final 7th date they added to Mexico City. With each date they added the pre-sales and sales started to take longer and longer to sell out, so the process felt quite smooth and easy.
