I don't see the fuss. It just looks like she made a bit of extra effort for this appearance. I loved that natural un made up but still sexy look she rocked in the La Tortura and Don't Bother videos. And personally speaking she reminds me of Madonna alot in the last year. Can't say exactly why.
Wow, I love Shakira's new look. She kind of looks just like every other diva on the popscene. Which means she kinds of blends into the crowd. Which means I will probably notice her a lot less. That's fine.

I got an email last night from seetickets telling me Shakira is coming to Wembley in March... Tickets are on sale now, but Seetickets won't tell you where the seats are.
Has anyone got experience with the company? Do they get a good allocation of seats, or should I wait until Wembley sells the tickets through their vendor, livenation?

OK, yes she''s got her second number one (it may as well be 3rd, Whenever Wherever certainly had the impact of a number 1, and was only held of by a terrible Pop Idol record), but it''s her second with another R&B act.
What happened to her own material; the releases of Animal City and La Pared that were lined up?
I''m worried she''s creating a pigeon hole for herself that involves a lot of Casio keyboard demos that sound a bit ''ethnic'' and shaking of her mid-rift region.
It''s a shame becuase her last Spanish album is AMAZING and sold well in many non panish speaking countries (apart from the UK of course, but we aren''t famed for our linguistic tolerance - the Germans loved it!)

Before Oral Fixation 1 and 2, the plan was to take a break for a few years. Starting a family and marriage, and whatnot.
The fact that she''s already sold enough to be set for life combined with the fact that she can take 5 years off at a time and come back bigger than ever probably encourages a bit of laziness.

I agree. She really does need a massive English album under her belt before she can even consider taking a break. The releases from Oral Fixation have been complete chaos, pretty much parallel to the disorganisation of the B''Day releases.
Do you think she''ll abandon Oral Fixation now? Laundry Service did have four singles (although The One was cancelled in the UK before release) and there are still plenty of songs left on Oral Fixation that are a hundred times better than Illegal and Don''t Bother - why hasn''t she pushed for Animal City or Timor? I''d like to see one last single release at least.

I totally forgot Don''t Bother was released... I think it suffered from the overkill of Since You Been Gone, which is a pity cause it''s a brilliant song. She really has screwed up this album...
