That was the lead single, of course. I always felt they should have gone with something else as Do It For Love is overly repetitive with a poor chorus to me. Mind you, they went with Jimmy Mack as second single which was even worse!
I have a soft spot for Jimmy Mack....
It goes on too long. That’s the main problem with Do You. Pretty much every song could lose at least a minute.
I do agree, a lot of 80's albums by any act do seem to suffer with that in that respect. My favourite Is When The Lighting Strikes Again, and even that needs some trimming.
It’s sad but I remember the days when I’d time each song on my cassette player to see its duration. Silly me back then *did* associate length with quality... the things we learn...
An absolute knock out ballad, and if any justice, would have been one of the great Diva ballads of the 90's.
Celine Dion would have smashed with this.

Finally gave in and ordered a second hand copy of this... can definitely use more Sheena in my life right now.
Hurrah! You won't regret it. It sucks though how hard it is to get hold of a copy of this great album though.

Yes, managed to get hold of it a couple of years ago. Good price as you say.
Shame it won't be including the The Lover In Me due to the fact that it's an MCA release. Good news though all the same.
Looks like I might get A Private Heaven at long last.
Edsel handled the EMI albums last time I believe. Had A Private Heaven and Do You via their 2 disc set.
