I'm going through her back catalogue and now understanding why people don't like it, it's definitely weaker than her previous material. However there's always a small possibility this is her aiming for a chart smash (I'll buy a copy of Britney Jean if this misses the top spot) and the album will be stronger.

I'm still swinging from the chandelier though.

Love the melody but what's with the delivery (mumbling on the verses, shrieking like her vocal chords are about to pop out of her throat in the chorus)?

I love it, but a Bad Romance? Really? I wonder will this even be a hit? Like the chorus can be considered very grating.

I think she's got a case of the Bonnie McKee's, she's lent her voice to so many other artists, she just sounds like a bunch of stuff that's already out. Minus the raised by wolves vocals. I wonder if Rihanna would do this justice.

A lot of her songs just seem so effortlessly fantastic. Now that she is a huge name, she seems to be putting too much effort into creating something great.

I don't really like the new song; but I've always been more of a fan of her slower music soooo thats that.

This song's chorus is the definition of balls-out. I'm not meaning to disrespect anyone but calling that 'middle-of-the-road' just does not compute.

I guess the song is alright, it just evaporates from my memory after each listen.

Sia's comments on the lyrics are priceless. "i’ve written this lyric or something like it into at least 40 songs in the last year." Unfortunately, it shows.

I just think it would actually be nice if it didn't sound like it wanted to blow your eyebrows off. They should take it down a step or 20.

Imagining Rihanna screaming her way through this is bad enough, until you hear that Sia also had Katy in mind for it. Katy.

The way she pronounces "three" is the main problem I am having with this right now. "One, two, tweee, drink". I love it though, I hope it is a smash for her.

This song perfectly encapsulates where Sia is in pop right now, and it's brilliant. Very big, without trying to be overly clever. I love it.
