Looking for a new fragrance rec. My absolute faves are Bleu de Chanel and YSL L’Homme. Love fresh but woodsy and slightly musky fragrances that last long. Especially love anything with amber notes. Any ideas?
I enjoy When The Rain Stops and By The Fireplace! Both for very different purposes, but they last well on me.Has anyone tried any of the Maison Margiela Replica fragrances? They intrigue me.
I’ve just been looking for reviews for this and am now tempted. Angel by Mugler has always been my go-to but looking for something less sweet.Dior Homme Intense is fantastic. Very amber / woodsy. (I'm not a fragrance expert but to my unexperienced nose, that's what it smells like). It's been my go-to fragrance for years. Delish.

Prada L’Homme Absolu and Viktor & Rolf’s Spicebomb were my go tos for a long time, but I’ve ran out of both and had to break open my Inverse stash.
Does anyone have recommendations based off those?
Ooh do Tom Ford fragrances not last long? I’ve had my eye on the purple or black bottled one, gorgeous smell but bloody pricey. The summer just gone, I had been wearing some new fragrances. I really really recommend Mason Crivelli's Hibiscus Majahad. There's nothing quite like it. A few nice other fragrances are Xerjoff's Erba Pura and Bond No.9's New York Nights.
It's cooler seasons now in Australia so I've been trying more gourmand fragrances, rather than spicy/ouds. I'm in love with Giardini di Toscana's Bianco Latte. It's a beautiful creamy lactonic, vanilla with a caramel/praline dry down. I've reunited with my old bottle of Dior's Fève Délicieuse and loving that.
I've also started to become very acquainted with some local fragrance houses in Sydney with some who specialised in dupes and higher concentrations of designer/niche fragrances. I can't recommend them enough. I'd rather spend $45 for something 90% similar and longer lasting rather than paying $600 that lasts for one hour (looking at you Tom Ford). I really want to try Target (USA)'s Fine'ry's Not Another Cherry but shipping is a KILLER.
Depends on the Tom Ford!Ooh do Tom Ford fragrances not last long? I’ve had my eye on the purple or black bottled one, gorgeous smell but bloody pricey.
Isn't this Lisa Blackpink's signature scent?New fave... Eau Papier by Dyptique. Delish.
Yes it’s the first two which I’m now torn between. Dior Sport is what I’m currently wearing; I was going to change to Dior Intense but it reminds me of another slightly lavendery smell I wore a few years back.Depends on the Tom Ford!
“Black or purple” I’m guessing refers to Black Orchid and Velvet Orchid, both of which are exceptionally long-lasting in my experience.
The Private Blend line is more hit-or-miss in the longevity department. Almost all the blue bottles (Neroli Portofino, Mandarino Di Amalfi, etc.) are light, citrus-focused scents that don’t have much staying power. Soleil Blanc is also short-lived. But the heavier/richer scents that are more similar to Black Orchid are all appropriately long-wearing, in my opinion.
