Hey! What about Freak Like Me? Richard X magic!
So far my main criteria are that the signature number has to be a single, and that we didn't already rate the song in part 1. Trying to also avoid using a number that features a whole heap in rates for each group so as to have a fairly 'fresh' list for us all. Stay tuned for a little preview and potentially some pointers from the audience in picking 'the one' between a couple of numbers for the more popular bands #soon!
Want to keep the same girl groups :) The song can be a different decade from their original representation thoughAnd are all the girls groups the same? Or are you adding/getting rid of some?

Push The Button is a choice for a signature song.
I think looking at the grand public for a signature song from is going to be Round Round, but looking at the rate it could be Hole In The Head. Assuming that album tracks are excluded (Ace Reject)
A me and Push The Button tea.Round Round can fuck off (unless people actually want me to give Sugababes a sub-3 score)
The Veronicas- Their biggest hit by far is Untouched and would also give them a better shot than Hook Me Up.
These are all very good points! Is there a place online where I can check each act's most successful singles? That might take any 'ifs' out of the equation! Is it gonna be the signature song then or just random picks? I think the former makes way more sense.
Sugababes- Run For Cover is my favourite song by them but it's not even in the top 10 for signature songs. That's a choice between Push the Button/About You Now.
Mis-teeq- Has to be Scandalous even though One Night Stand is incredible.
Girls Aloud- Their most popular/well known songs are The Promise/Love Machine
PCD- I loooove I Don't Need a Man but I doubt many remember it outside their fanbase. Their signature hit is Don't Cha, then Buttons.
The Veronicas- Their biggest hit by far is Untouched and would also give them a better shot than Hook Me Up.
The Saturdays- If it's just between those 2 then Up is the only option.
Hook Me Up not making the top 10 is a crime!Agreed. Also, Untouched was the runner-up in their discography rate (which 4Ever won); Hook Me Up didn't even make the top 15.
Wikipedia? ddd. To be fair, it'd probably give you what certifications they got and the source which'd probably be something from the Official Charts Company. These are all very good points!
