60s list based on sales/certifications/charts
'60s
The Shirelles – Dedicated To The One I Love or Mama Said (two classics)
The Crystals – He’s A Rebel (biggest hit from what I can see)
The Angels – My Boyfriend’s Back (iconic!)
The Marvelettes – Playboy or Don’t Mess With Bill (leaning towards the latter)
Patti Labelle & The Blue Belles – Lady Marmalade (iconic!!)
The Exciters – Do-Wah-Diddy (any bigger hits I am not familiar with, please chime in)
The Supremes – Baby Love or Stop In The Name Of Love or You Can’t Hurry Love or a hundred other things (All classics but does anything real beat the second choice??)
The Ronettes – Baby I Love You (will be interesting to see how our winners do this time around)
The Chiffons – One Fine Day (classic!)
Martha & The Vandellas – Dancing In The Street (classic! Happy with a redo of Heatwave too considering the injustice it missed top 10!)
The Dixie Cups – Iko Iko or People Say (former a bit of a standard)
The Shangri-Las – Leader Of The Pack (iconic)
#soon!
These all seem spot on although Too Many Fish In the Sea, When Your Young And In Love and The Hunter Gets Captured By The Game are far better known these days than the two Marvelettes songs mentioned above.
I'm assuming The Supremes and The Vandellas get extra songs added?

S'il vous plait.The Supremes – You Can’t Hurry Love
Stoned Love, Nathan Jones, Floy Joy, Up The Ladder To The Roof, to name a few. The 70's Supremes were incredible. For the sake of variety could I suggest that we choose one hit from the post Diana 'New Supremes'? They had a string of hits in the early 70's which are often overlooked today.
Stoned Love would be a great choice.
Absolutely The Hunter Gets Captured By The Game!!
I wish! Unfortunately that would halve the participation!Let’s just give the sixties groups all the songs.

@DJHazey - as The Saturdays expert, What About Us is definitely shaping up as their signature one all things considered, including even having some chart success in Australia unlike many of their other tunes. I am planning to use it as people can vote on it with or without the feature. Other than All Fired Up (which seems to be divisive already and might ruin their shot here - listened to it for the first time over the weekend and also don't like it much), is there another of theirs you'd like me to look into that might fit?
I'll take a look at its impact on he charts as well, thank some Love! The other contender is definitely "Up" without a doubt.
As much as I find The Saturdays pleasant to listen to - I just don't think they have enough of a legacy behind them to warrant a second entry. In the 00s list - I feel Girls Aloud and Sugababes earn it the most if anything. I may only allocate it to one and give an extra one to Diana Ross as her three listed before are near impossible to decide between. #soon! If The Saturdays have to have 2 entries then the second should definitely be Up to ensure that they have at least 1 good song rated.
