My favorite thing about the Pointer Sisters song is the theory that it inspired Barack Obama's famous "Yes We Can" campaign slogan. Apparently they were miffed that he never invited them to the White House to perform it. He should have!

I'd go with most iconic rather than best selling. In most instances that's pretty clear cut and at least those with lots of choices will be represented by something that properly showcases them.

Pointer Sisters – Yes We Can Can

Can't really be mad because whilst it's a tragedy that The Pointer Sisters are going out so early, this song doesn't do them justice at all when they have all these classics in their repertoire.









Including this amazing performance with the greatest outfits in pop history. June Pointer is my all time fashion icon. I would kill for that mauve, puff sleeved mini dress.

Ouch! Me suddenly being so in tune with the PJ experience soon turned out to be a fluke, didn't it.

"Yes We Can Can" is the third best song in the whole rate, but I still gave it "just" 9.5 (cause I'm not easy like that), sorry soratami!

If nothing else, this only proved beyond any doubt what I had suspected years ago: that PJ really is the unfunkiest place in the internet.
