I completely understand that expectation BUT this is a very divisive rate (only the top 2 got a score at/or over a 9 average) so don't sell any other bands short yet, lovely!

Sound of the Underground is faaaar from Girls Aloud's best though. I still gave it an 8, but definitely don't want it to win.

Ah, see, what you do is you don't talk about the song, you talk about that dreadful film it was in the soundtrack for. That helps divert attention away.
