Sophie Ellis-Bextor - "Freedom of the Night" + The Invisible Line (TBD)

Yeah, Sophie won't be anticipating any single to top the charts, it'll all be about building momentum for the eventual album. I just hope she isn't going to delay it for a year or so.

If this single is out now, and the video later in the week, she should be at a point where the album is done and start to prep for another single maybe in January with an album pre-order for Feb/March?

But this is Sophie and so... you never really know.

Anyway I'm fuming she's clashed Manchester with Hoopla!!!

Ordered the store vinyl for now but I’m surprised there aren't more options available, not even a bundle of both records and the CD. If you want one of everything you better enjoy signed prints..

I mean she puts so little effort into the signed prints, I kinda wish she'd stop.

I actually like the invented logo, her font stylistic choices lately were always interesting, to say the least, so here we’ve got standard font but with a twist.

Also the poster looks really good. I hope that the album cover will be brilliant.

Summer 2025 does seem a lifetime away - that's roughly 9 months from now, ha! But then if the tour is May/June surely the album will be out around then (or just before) so perhaps more like a spring release?

I assume we'll get a load of singles before the album then.

Slowly warming to Freedom of the Night after thinking that she's done this 25 times before. I still expected something bigger for her return to pure pop/dance.
