Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Hana

A recent interview with Betty Boo said she was working with Sophie. I hope it's for this album and not something with The Feeling.
She was working with Sophie during the Trip sessions as well.

Also, Hypnotised sounds good. I hope it is well over the 3 minute mark. I can imagine the studio version having many layers in the production. It certainly sounds like it will be massive.

I hope she’s performing a shorter version of the song live… because I really want that to go on for at least a minute longer.

Hypnotised is very vintage Marina. It's good!
It is! That was my first thought too. Also, 18 year old Sophie would be proud of this new wave banger.

I also think the lyrics are sort of clunky, very Marina-like.
You always knew how to creep into my head
Always finding ways to sleep in my bed
You have always kept me hypnoti-sed (or hyptonised, eh)
You will never have the key to my heart
Pay attention to the things that I said
I had told you I was sick of crying
When you gave me promises of paradise
Then took back again before my eyes

Here we go, at it again
You see this decision is not for (or from?) me
It just wasn't meant to be
The decision is mine to leave you

Cos I've grown so tired of the mind games you play
So warm in the night, yet to cold in the day

You always knew how to creep into my head
Always finding ways to sleep in my bed
You have always kept me hypnoti-sed (or hyptonised, eh)
You will never have the key to my heart
Pay attention to the things that I said
I had told you I was sick of crying
When you gave me promises of paradise
Then took back again before my eyes

Here we go, cat and the mouse ??
I'm done and I'm breaking free
It just wasn't meant to be
The decision is mine to leave you

Cos I've seen the light and I'm moving along
It never was right and I'm done with your (talk ?)

I've grown so tired of the mind games you play
So warm in the night, yet to sold in the day

You always knew how to creep into my head
Always finding ways to sleep in my bed
You have always kept me hypnoti-sed (or hyptonised, eh)
You will never have the key to my heart
Pay attention to the things that I said
I had told you I was sick of crying

At least she didn't rhyme hypnotised with dickmatised...

She described the new song as "a little bit ABBA on crack", LOL!

She also mentioned the producer she worked on it with, but I really cannot get what his name is from this clip:

I thought the new album was going to be another Harcourt affair. I'm not familiar with Wuh Oh and Sega Bodega.
