Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Hana

If I have to be honest I find Lost in the Sunshine the worst of the three released tracks, it was nice enough but kinda forgettable. But on the other hand Everything is Sweet had insanely grown on me, I get really thrilling feelings coming from the instrumental and Sophie's delivery is spot on, if only it had better mixing.

Honestly I do just want the synthy bops and most likely will keep grumbling until she does that again ddd. I always enjoy her music tho I just want it to sound more fun and interesting rather than sweet and nice. She has the range.

I love indie Sophie but next album should be all dance mode.

I doubt that Richard X, James Ford, Stuart Price or James Greenwood are that expensive.
A Sophie x Ford would be absolutely amazing. He has worked on indie, pop, dance albums and he has a good sense of what makes a good song. But he has worked with some really high profile artists, so I’m guessing he won’t fit the budget easily. Same goes for Stuart Price. I’ve been waiting for a Price produced album from Sophie since Confessions.

Ashnikko, Foo Fighters, Jake Shears,
Louise - Greatest Hits, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds -The Aces - are all releasing the same week as Hana comes out. Sophie might have a good chance at top 5 with this. I guess it depends how well Ed and Capaldi continue to sell from May as well.

I know the charts aren't as impactful as they used to be but it would be nice to see.

Thanks. Just ordered a CD.

I put this - Let's get lost in the sunshine
Same!
I put Let's get Lost in the Sunshine on the CD, and treated myself to a vinyl, and requested 'Soaring up like satellites in the twilight zone, Breaking the Circle. (I really like that lyric)

Can't wait to hear the album. I thought it was out the end of June and didn't realise it was the 2nd!
