Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Make A Scene

If you're only going to do a single day of press, better make it worthwhile and incorporate two products you're selling rather than just one. Or that's the lazy line of thinking, I guess.

Press day- does that mean phoners and sit-downs with reporters and such?

She has gotten herself into that weird limbo where she makes relatively frequent appearances in the press without actually having anything to promote, so while even I can't spin it so that it's a positive for her to do no press I guess it might not make her seem overly desperate (????).

Two videos! Watch her be more promiently featured in the video for Junior's single than she is in the video for her own single.

Re: Sophie Ellis Bextor - Bittersweet (lead single from 4th album - feb 2010)

If Girls Can't Catch can get a 2CD bundle, and the Nanas can get multiple picture discs and such, Sophie can get a CD single. With a B-side.

I would like to know who is remixing the stuff, if Fascination are going to pay for the usual Riffs Digital Moto Wideboys or not.

So is she going along the same release schedule as Kylie? How is a big "comeback" going to happen for her at that rate? She should have put her album out out NOW! ...or part the good songs off like a used car.

I won't get my hopes up. We're probably going to get something like this

CD Single
1. Bittersweet
2. totally amazing b-side which everyone will think is album-quality

iTunes Promo
1. Bittersweet
2. that really massive Freemasons mix
3. Remix 2
4. Remix 3
5. Freemasons dub

Re: Sophie Ellis Bextor - Bittersweet (lead single from 4th album - feb 2010)

hasn't she always given us a b-side, except on two singles
TMH
MOTD - Never Let Me Down
GOY - Live It Up
MGTBOM (but she did give us mixes of two album tracks here)
MUW - The Earth Shook The Devils Hand
IWCY - Yes Sir, I Can Boogie
CY - Down With Love
MAMI - Move To The Music, Here's To You
TTSOU - Duel

Heartbreak isn't counted, because it was a Freemasons' release

Hold on to your horses, fan, there is a Q&A with Sophie up.

Blah blah blah she's "busy", there's going to be a dance ("dance") in the Bittersweet video, she is staying with the company that did her previous graphic design (better than hiring Girls Aloud's!), and a photographer named Ben Weller is doing the shoot for the single and album cover.

oh please tell me some idiot hacked into her twitter account.... Make A Scene was actually perfect. Just as brash and brazen as Read My Lips was...
