Oh I hate this as well... it just goes nowhere. What is with our veteran pop girlies jumping on the most generic of dance tracks lately?
Well its not as bad as the Indie girls jumping on the Calvin train.... Paloma... Florence... etc at least Sophie has been 'dance' at some point. Not a total sell out... :D

I don't mind Sophie doing the odd generic dance track here and there, she's been hopping on them for the best part of a decade by now. I'm sure her actual album will have more in depth stuff anyway.

Oh and Ellie Goulding .... she had so much 'indie' promise at the beginning and then in my opinion became the definition of generic.

Oh that I agree with. Her debut was excellent ''folktronica'', the followup was great then she lost her identity. She kinda found it again occasionally with her latest album but still...

Sophie, on the other hand, is the dance queen in my opinion. Some hit and misses of course, but I will never complain. Her voice suits dance music so much.

Less Ellie bashing please. This is fine but Hypnotized was much better for me.
Still, no harm in her releasing a couple of collabs over the summer whilst she’s busy touring.
