It's May, which means it's time for the tour! Feel free to close this if not necessary but I know some people will want to avoid spoilers and some won't, so I thought perhaps a separate thread to discuss the tour would be good. 24th May - Dublin, Croke Park 27th May - Cardiff, Principality Stadium 29th May - Manchester, Etihad Stadium 31st May - Manchester, Etihad Stadium 1st June - Manchester, Etihad Stadium 3rd June - Coventry, Ricoh Stadium 4th June - Coventry, Ricoh Stadium 6th June - Sunderland, Stadium of Light 8th June - Edinburgh, Murrayfield Stadium 10th June - Bristol, Ashton Gate Stadium 13th June - London, Wembley Stadium 14th June - London, Wembley Stadium 15th June - London, Wembley Stadium Setlist: 1. Is this necessary this early? There haven’t been many spoilers as it is and having this thread a month in advance will just split/duplicate conversation across the two threads.
It's 24 days away. I'd get it if it'd been set up on the day the tickets went on sale but I don't think setting this up now is the worst thing in the world.
Glad you made this thread as it helps people know where to and where not to look! I can't think of a good setlist as there's just so many ballads. They did a great job with spacing them out on the last tour and speeding up Too Much but I'm not sure if they'll do that this time round. When you look at their 13 singles, 7 are ballads which is quite heavy. 1. Lady Is a Vamp to open (something different and quite fitting with the "we hope that you enjoy the show"), followed by a big anthem like Who Do You Think You Are 2. Album tracks like Move Over, Never Give Up On The Good Times & Love Thing would be nice. 3. Viva Forever and Wannabe as the encore.
I don’t think I’m emotionally ready. I was born around the time Wannabe was released so I completely missed the Spice mania, but my mother has always claimed that the first song she remembers me reacting to and liking is Wannabe. It took me about until I was 16 to appreciate them and the legacy thanks to Girls Aloud, the Suga and the Sats and tracing back the history of girlbands. I’ve always had this feeling of yearning about seeing them so I’ll be satisfied with any setlist since it’s obvious the singles will be sung. I can’t wait to bawl my eyes out when they perform Viva Forever. I’m going to Wembley on the 13th and I’m scared shitless because I’ve never been in a stadium and I don’t know how many hours in advance I should be there.
I still wish I was going! But hey ho, shall happily come on here and find out what the shows were like!!
No spoilers for me Gold circle Dublin If i could figure out how to post pics I’d do it for yas So I’ll be one of the first to see this tour up close Hai si ja hold tight
Spoil me rotten! Although there's nothing quite like seeing something for the first time, not knowing what to expect, my date is right at the end so there's no point trying to stay "spoiler free" because it'll be impossible.
Yes, it really is so hard to avoid concert spoilers these days alas. Hope you have a brilliant time!!
I don't think I'm capable of avoiding spoilers. I refuse to go to opening nights of concerts where I can because I have to know what's going on.
I've never seen them before so I'm guessing this has already been done, but Spice Up Your Life is the best and rightful opener for me.
I'm really curious to see how this will differ from the last tour. That show was really good. One of the best concerts. But I'm sure this will be amazing.
As far as setlist goes i just need 5 things: 1. If U Can't Dance (the proper one) 2. Love Thing 3. Saturday Night Divas 4. Never Give Up On The Good Times 5. Step To Me I know i'll be disappointed when they do 3 useless covers and start with solo no sense instead but let me dream.
In an ideal world, it will be the entirety of Spice & Spiceworld + Goodbye & Holler. Obviously it won’t be.
