It's funny that this tour is way more nostalgic than the 2007 one yet at the same time the group feels more current and relevant than they have done for years.
It's so weird looking back. It doesn't feel like certain things took place at the same time. Like Britney's "Blackout" being released 3 months before Return of the Spice Girls kicked off. It feels like Return of the Spice Girls happened so much later.I wonder if that's partly because the last tour was pre-Gaga and the resurgence of pop music?

We love character growth don't we girls? xBeing one of those people who spoke about Geri’s speeches I must say the last few videos of her speeches at Wembley showed how much this all means to her. I now understand that she’s just taking it all in as she’s never experienced the stadium audiences and it was a cute and emotional video to see her have her moment at Wembley after saying how gutted she was when the girls first played it.

About now? There'll already be a queueHow early would I have to be at the event to be nearish to the front?! Sorry, so naive
I watched a full bootleg and it looks more like she is in awe and taking it all in rather than being lost or bewildered. I think she hadn't realized the true power and lasting impact of the Spice Girls until now.Hahah! I’ll admit these videos have changed my outlook on why I thought she looked “lost”
She’s not ready to be done. As a fan since 97 (USA), I’ve seen Mel C go up and down a lot, but she’s more behind the group than she has been in 20 years. It’s great seeing them all in a good place and thoroughly enjoying being part of SG. At the end of the video of Mel B surprising fans from Australia, she said she and Mel C are the two that want to definitely do more, but that they have to get the others on board. I think Geri just needs a little time to figure out that she can be Ginger and a great mother at the same time. Emma is eager to do more, that’s obvious. They can make it work. I have full faith in them because when their hearts are really in it, magic happens.
I’m wondering if the movie will be coming out in 2021 for the 25th anniversary of Wannabe and Spice.
