Spice Girls - SpiceWorld 2019 Tour Thread

1. No Victoria Beckham
Maybe she didn't want to steal their limelight? She could have been criticised for swanning in at the end at taking all the attention for doing nothing...
If she didn't want to go on stage she could have at least attended...she said she would! I always thought that 'Where is she' was set up for the last tour date.
I'm sure they've been in communication with her, so they probably knew - there was a point the Mel C instagram post earlier said 'five girls play Wembley stadium 25 years later' and i was convinced that was a hint but obviously not. Lots of fans sending her abuse on instagram..no point, seems she made her decision, sadly.

2. Professional Recording
If they were gonna do it i wanted a UK show to be recorded....it's a different energy
World tour dates would be good...but not the same buzz!
Is there any way it's been recorded without us knowing? Some professional recording bits are out there. I just don't understand why Simon Fuller is SO against it? He did the same to S Club 7 and the 1st Spice Girls tour. We have had no explanation or confirmation, sadly!

Very sweet of Geri to say ‘sorry.’
That was a nice moment!
Also liked the 'Mama' today with their kids and mums
Not to mention them not wanting to leaving the stage.

I think that's it for the Spice Girls in the UK for a while sadly, whilst a world tour could still happen it won't have the same energy. I've been amazed at the crowd's and turn out's. There was a point last year i was worried they couldn't sell arena's in 2019 but boy was i wrong, they just pulled off a huge stadium tour, easily.

Does anyone follow Spice Girls News? Do they normally have info because they are posting dates for Australia on Facebook, would be sad if they are hyping people up with fake info, which looks likely based on the dates they posted.
At this point, they're probably guesses based on when the venues have free dates in February.

Them dates are definitely fake. There's no way they'll play Brisbane the night after Sydney, especially having to transport a stadium sized stage (and all that comes with it). It's just not logistical.

Tonight was just unbelievable! I don't usually get emotional at concerts but tonight I did a few times. Spice Girls were so pivotal in shaping the deep love I have for music today and I'm sure many of you guys too. They were such a movement, unlike anything I've seen since. To witness them live (second time for me) is just incredibly emotional and surreal. I felt so much elation tonight! They were such a phenomenon and mean so much to so many people. It's amazing to witness. The songs are just so classic and pure pop perfection.

I loved everything about it, the setlist was great. They did "Too Much" justice after the last tour, they did my favourite album track, "Never Give Up On The Good Times", which I never thought I'd get to see live. I loved the costumes, the banter and the whole atmosphere. For me it was such a step-up from the last tour, which I did enjoyed immensely. However, this one will really stick in my brain - the staging and costumes were so much better. I have to say this is probably one of my favourite concerts of all-time. I really hope they do continue. There definitely seemed to be a renewed energy and a genuine love between the girls, it was really lovely to watch. It was such an unforgettable night!

Only slightly annoying thing was the merchandise situation. This woman wouldn't let us queue up at the merch stand (had tried a couple of others but the t-shirt I wanted was out of stock in my size and this final one looked like they had a lot more things). She said there were merchandise stalls outside, which there weren't so I didn't end up getting any! Was really annoyed. Thankfully I just ordered what I wanted online (including the programme which suddenly became available again when I got home and now seems to be gone again).

Ok guys, I went to G A Y late this night and I've met this lady. Do you recognize this gay icon?

That would have been me if my brother actually would have managed to buy me tickets for the first tour back in 98.

I am still mad eventhough I‘ve seen them 4 times since dddd.

Where is the best place to park at Wembley stadium. Going again to see Pink in a few weeks and don’t want to have to go through the tube experience from last night again!

I hope if this does carry on that they at least do one more Wembley date at some point in the future, even if it’s just a one off. I seriously regret not going.
