Spice Girls - SpiceWorld 2019 Tour Thread

  1. It’s funny because last night I felt like I’d gone back in time 20 years. It was great to see such a huge enthusiastic crowd. People were literally having sing songs on the tube journey on the way there. In my 20+ years of going to gigs and concerts, I have never witnessed THAT much love.

  2. That finale last night, seems amazing to say the very least. What an fantastic show to have experienced am sure.

  3. This tour took over my life for a while and Manchester feels like ages ago now. But I still cannot believe it’s over (for now). They must surely be doing something else otherwise it would have been the perfect opportunity to say farewell.

Also I’m over the moon for them that Adele loved the show, the most important fan and critic (and followed Instagram star) in my eyes. What a fantastic era this has been for the girls.

  4. They really deserve every bit of this. What a positive difference they've made in the world.

  5. Tribal Spaceman

    Tribal Spaceman Oh, OK.

I saw someone wearing one of those classic market stall bootleg T-shirts that everyone had in 1997, the one with the girls bursting through a paper wall. Wonder if she'd held onto it since then?

  7. I’ve been reading all the reviews and acknowledging how special this tour was. I’m so happy for all who were able to see it.

Spice World really is THE best world to live in.

  8. I don’t think I’ll ever have the words to express how brilliant this tour has been and how the two shows I went to, last night in particular, are now highlights of my life. Watching these four girls that I love so much having a moment with their mothers and kids in front of 90,000 people sums it up for me. They are incredible and I hope they continue for a long time. We need them.

  9. Evenin, soooooooo. Very hard to put into words how last night felt for me and also for Matt the night before. I've been in a daze all day and just quietly swept the garden and did chores while hubby baked lol. So many moments that made me cry tears of joy and burst with pride. Im still processing it. Some beautiful moments back stage reminiscing and pinching ourselves and wishing it could happen all over again. A real highlight for me was the banter on stage. It was just the same 24yrs ago sitting in my tiny studio in East London and trust me still carries on back stage! I love them so much it hurts. Thanks for all the lovely comments on here its such a great site and Peter should be very proud. Now to stop gushing..... How amazing is that Sampa the Great single!!!!!! B x

  10. We've all been there, luv!

  11. She is stylistically so different to the Spice Girls - Jess very much represents how pop is done in 2019 (for good and bad) and the Spicies are just a completely different (better!) sensibility, of when there was more FUN in chart music.

  13. I parked in someone's residential driveway using the Yourparkingspace.co.uk app - HIGHLY recommended. I parked about 15 mins walk away, so it was nearer to the North Circular and there was no traffic or queueing at all! I was very pleased with myself!

  15. Also, I remember looking around me during this interlude at Wembley and everyone - including myself - was crying. One of those moments you’ll take with you forever.

  16. This would be amazing and it would be genius if their plan all along was to replicate both of the old tours.

  17. Tribal Spaceman

    Tribal Spaceman Oh, OK.

Adele should record an album of covers, duets and new songs, all with a Spice Girls theme, and call it 10, the age she was when she first saw them in Wembley.

  19. I just saw your recent Insta stories and your reaction to '2 Become 1' was so lovely. Not to blow smoke up your arse even more (than I have previously), but you sir are a legend. Thank you.

  20. OK but we need the girls to come to America.

Seriously though, it’s been wonderful living vicariously through you all living out your childhood dreams. Even if I don’t get to see them myself, I’m immensely happy for my fellow Spice bbs!
