Same here! Wanted to go to Wembley, even checked for tickets. For some reason decided not to go and now regret it of course. Won't happen again I can tell you.

Spice World 2019 would not have happened the way it did had Victoria wanted to tour. I'm not saying she'd have taken complete control but she has a brand she has to protect so the show would likely have been built around that rather than capturing the essence of what made them so huge in the 90's. The costumes would likely have been dull, the staging and screen visuals would have been less exciting. We wouldn't even have had the Walkers advert if she were part of the reunion.

So while I adore Victoria, thank god she wasn't there.

I'd have taken a five piece, but I agree we wouldn't have had anything near as fun as SW19. It would have been a whole different vibe.

You tend to find the Victoria stans are the ones being particularly vile about Geri though.

“Grow up” coming from the person being horrible about Geri? Like, it’s 2020. You don’t need to put someone down to lift someone else up - and that goes for all the anti-Victoria people too.

I'm not trying to lift Victoria at all. But I DO THINK Geri is kinda dead nowadays and it's ok, why not? I used to love her, and still support, but she's just there.

I'm so sick of people saying Geri isn't Geri anymore. What they really are saying is they want Geri to be full on Ginger Spice caricature again. They want a 47 year old woman to act how she was in her 20's, which is very bizarre to me.

I don't think anyone is saying the whole thing would have been dull, but certain aspects would have been more muted. I think it's inevitable there would have been some compromise for the sake of Brand Beckham. What we got was apologetically Spiced up to the max.
