For me, it's the exact opposite. I find myself getting more and more pissed off as a fan of them because of the sheer lack of effort they put in, and when there is something they could feasibly do - such as release the footage of the tour - they give us literal scraps or a bloody hoodie. They're just there for a cheque now.

Just saw the #relivespiceworld2019 subject title in the marketing email I'd received and got very excited thinking it was going to be a Dvd of the tour...but...hoodies.

I mean, for a proper release you'd need at least 5 usable angles of any moment plus decent footage of whoever is singing for all bits of all songs (I've edited a concert without that and there's only so many times you can cut to the audience or a wide shot). There definitely is quite a scale between 'just the one shot that was on the screens' and 'enough to make a decent video of it'

Doesn’t necessarily mean they all had useable footage at the right times but yeah

People always say "oh it was for the screens" but there is clearly footage for a full release.

I mean if another tour is not gonna happen, at least let us enjoy the last one!!!

Most of the footage from this video seems like it was shot handheld by their official photographer, not coming from professional cameras for the screens. As a fan, I would be happy with footage like this but let's not fool ourselves this does not look like a professional, ready-for-release, video.

Now the actual footage shot for the screens might be good enough but we haven't really seen much of that, also there were a lot of graphics overlays which might make the footage a bit harder to use (if they don't have access to the actual raw footage).

So they've made Bluebell sew in 300 labels into some unsold hoodies? My god, I really do hate them dd.

It's wild to think of all the relatively minimal effort releases they could be doing on their store (cardsleeve single rereleases, Spice in a "webstore exclusive" slipcase etc) that fans would eat up, but instead they just keep chucking the same pngs on t-shirts.

I agree sadly. Considering they are one - if not THE - of the most iconic girl bands EVER, the social media and whole promotion, releases, social media etc is shockingly bad. Not just in terms of quality but -what feels like - lack of respect for their fanbase. I know some will reply saying that they don't owe the fans anything, I get that, but when you have others storming it social, release wise it's just a shame the Spice Girls is far from that.

As opposed to...? It's not like Spiceworld is filled with news at the minute and they've just released a trailer for a tour that they refuse to release - it's bound to rightfully receive criticism as well as positivity.

We can critic them all we want, but it's such circle jerk here.
We know you want more and some act like they deserve more, while nobody doesn't.
So they put out some nice montage video and half the posts are whining they want more. Get on with it.
