Spice Girls

Fingers crossed the dates go ahead this year. I too missed out in York, after checking in for the Meet and Greet.

Hopefully we will get a better split of music, in terms of the solo hits/Spice Girls hits and Christmas music.
From the odd video I saw, it was strange to condense her solo stuff into a medley!
Performing What I Am, What Took You So Long, Take My Breath Away, Free Me, Maybe, Downtown and Baby Please Don't Stop in full will hardly take up much space in the setlist.
Heck, even if she throws in, I'll Be There and All I Need To Know, it would give fans something new to see!

There's a new quote from Emma in an article with The Times that was released today (the full thing is stuck behind a paywall).

Nevertheless, it looks like there is going to be another Spice Girls reunion. The long-rumoured appearance at Glastonbury this month is definitely not happening; however, all five former members are in discussions regarding an anniversary tour. Yes, even Victoria Beckham, who bowed out after that 2012 Olympic closing ceremony, seems to be up for it.
“We are all talking about it, which is just so exciting,” Bunton says. “There are a few anniversaries coming up.” Next year it will be 30 years since the group, then called Touch, first formed. In 2026, it will be 30 years since they released Wannabe. “And I also truly believe that we will one day play Glastonbury. Everyone wants it to happen and it will.”
Jones is shooting her quizzical looks.
“Do you think I shouldn’t be talking about this?” Bunton asks him.
“Not my call.” He shrugs a little nervously.

I don’t get the big deal and obsession with Glastonbury. Other than it being professionally filmed and released to the public there is no massive draw for me. They’ll open themselves up to huge vocal and performance criticism which their own tour will never be as rigorously criticised for as it’s all their own fans watching it.

The lack of direct quote about Victoria's involvement makes me think Emma's just talking about reuniting for the documentary...also why are they already thinking about 30th anniversaries when they celebrated their 20th with an iPhone video and their 25th with YouTube rips and merch using photos from a fan IG account

A final world tour including Victoria, that is contractually agreed to be their last as 5. 30 dates for their 30 years as a group.

Because it's a huge deal and they know it's the last thing they need to conquer as a group. Also they've been criticised their whole career so that doesn't matter, people still turn up and they would easily pull in one of the biggest audiences if not the biggest. It's time.

I won't give a single toss about anything they do moving forward unless it is centred around a new album. We've peddled the hits twice now.

Call Biff and make it happen! It's really not hard.

Victoria would be able to commit to Glasto 1000000% !!!!

I’m sure Elton will talk her round after a few rosés when they do their annual vacay on his yacht this summer.

If they do it, I’d want it full live band style like their final Brits performance. Nothing too over produced or proppy.

Stop and Spice Up Your Life would get the crowd going so hard! Oh who am I kidding every single song would
