Spice Girls

I'm trying to exchange my three Thursday tickets for three Saturday tickets if that happens to suit anyone? My friend didn't check if she could get the time off work to fly to London for the show and turns out she can't get approval (she's a teacher). Long shot I know. Looking forward to you all sliiiiding into my DMs.

I imagine she must have felt a certain way over Victoria getting the loudest cheers.
Yeah. That completely irked me about the reunion tour. It made the whole thing feel "uneven" and farcical at times. The other girls working their arses off and the biggest reception goes to the biggest celebrity out of the bunch of them. A sad reflection of our times.

The primary reason I'm glad VB isn't doing this tour.

Interestingly, Simon Ellis had "Spice Girls - tbc" under his list of projects on LinkedIn which now seems to have disappeared. He's been the MD of all their previous shows (and the Olympics) so it'd be a surprise if they changed, but you never know.

Ugh. Not a good sign. I was hoping they would go for someone new this time. Seems very lazy to unearth him again,

As much as I stan Vicky OBE, it does even things out a bit for the others. However, I expect we'll see her again with them at some point.

In his Instagram live yesterday Biff confirmed it’s Mel B’s laugh at the start of Wannabe.

I mean, far be it from me to argue, but it sounds very much like Geri's laugh rather than Mel B's. But Geri had such a lot of influence on the girls in the early days, it's not unfeasible to suggest Mel B acquired a similar laugh. In a similar way that many of them say "you know" every fourth word when they're explaining something even to this day.

You can hear it quite a lot here:

Yeah, I won't believe otherwise, that's Geri laughing.

I mean, they do have similar laughs. There's just something about Geri's that sounds a lot like the opening of Wannabe.

Probably best not to come to blows over it.
