Spider-Man (including Madame Web, Kraven, Venom, Spider-Verse)

I haven’t seen this yet so I’m just gonna blame the poor reviews and box office returns on misogyny. Partly being wilfully obtuse but also because there’s a specific ire from sweaty incels where female superhero films are concerned.
Honestly, it's just that bad. It's truly shocking how it got past so many stages of post production and through any kind of quality control to make it to theatres. It's one of the worst major studio movies I've ever seen. I'm glad some have been able to get some enjoyment out of it, but I couldn't see where. It's not bad in a fun way, it's just awful.

Those issues do exist and are definitely reasons for other movies' having a harder time, but not here.

It's not awful. Oh my God. I have seen many awful movies and this one wasn't one.

I'm not a fan of these superhero movies, but most of them bored me to death. And this one didn't.

It's just for another audience. Or maybe there's no specific audience for it. But it isn't an awful movie.

This lowkey (or maybe highkey at this point nn) has gone into so bad it might actually be a classic territory. Someone tell Sony to organise a Midnight Double Feature of Madame Web and Morbius that people can shout "It's Morbin' time" and "But I don't have a neuromuscular disorder" alongside the film.

I mean, it's all a matter of opinion, but for me Morbius was easily the better movie, while still being utter shite. It's not even close. I can't respect what they put out with this movie one bit. Everything is piss poor.

I wouldn't be opposed to them having another go to do it better. Surely there would be lessons learned.

But this thing will make such a massive financial loss, I can't see it for them.
