K-pop ending up in my top genres was a slight surprise, because while I have indeed dabbled the last year I don't remember indulging in anything that much (RING X RING fucking slaps, though), but judging by some of these placements, they're including December 2020 into these calculations and I distinctly remember the workload last Christmas being so bad I was absolutely rinsing Voice/Fall Again (+ Lose Your Love and Frankie Muniz) every day just to keep me from offing myself in the office bathroom, so hey. Mogsoli, mogsoli.

Whew, the taste on display!

My Wrapped story did change. They gave me the "soundtrack" moment about "the big kiss" and it being Zayn's "Vibez" ---- but then the track was nowhere on my wrapped playlist. The next time I watched it, that 'kiss' moment was gone, and it was replaced with a 'big dance-off' moment was Dua Lipa's "If It Ain't Me".... which makes sense because it was my #4 song of the year.

I think there are four "moments," and it shows you three of the four on any given play of your story, but each moment is always the same song. It always shows "the opening credits theme," then any two of "the song playing as you defeat the ancient vengeful spirit," "the song playing as you face off against your rival dance crew," and something about confessing your love in the rain.

Mine are, respectively:
Allie X - That's So Us (not on playlist)
Rina Sawayama - STFU! (#91)
Little Mix - Black Magic (#81)
Caroline Polachek - Door (not on playlist)

No idea where to put this, so putting it here. A while ago someone posted about this link that calls you out on your music taste.

> Your spotify was low-cut-jean-pop-nobody-puts-baby-in-a-corner-stan-army-lieutenant bad.

> Thank your obsessions with Britney Spears, (I've Had) The Time of My Life - From "Dirty Dancing" Soundtrack , and Billie Eilish for that.

> Based on your listening habits, I can also tell you your Spotify was...

> albanian-pop-agenda bad

> swiftie-fangirl bad

> smoking-your-grandma's-weed bad

> Unfortunately that's not all I learned:

You listen to these too much:
  • Oxytocin by Billie Eilish
  • Something in Your Eyes by Steps
  • Happier Than Ever by Billie Eilish
  • What the Future Holds - Single Mix by Steps
  • A Hundred Years of Winter by Steps
You stan these artists to an uncomfortable extent:
  • Britney Spears
  • Taylor Swift
  • Steps
  • Kylie Minogue
  • Katy Perry
You are 40% basic. Most of your music comes straight from iHeartRadio. lol Doja Cat..

You're too trendy for your own good. You only listen to music made in the last year like React by The Pussycat Dolls and Swimming In The Stars by Britney Spears.

Well, that was really something.

I need to go recalibrate my taste levels.

Shutting down.
I had 39% 2 years ago and now it's 40%...

You listen to these too much:
  • Good Ones by Charli XCX
  • Trying Not To Cry by Kina

  • It's Not You by Chet Faker
You stan these artists to an uncomfortable extent:

You are 17% basic. Yeah, you've got some obscure artists like Billy Fox, but your real top ones are ultra-mainstream like Drake..

You're too trendy for your own good. You only listen to music made in the last year like Lovesick Girls by BLACKPINK and The Difference by Flume.

Analysis finally complete.

I need to go sit in silence for a second.

Shutting down.
I went from 26% basic last year to 17% basic.

That's it. I'm done.

I need to go recalibrate my taste levels.

I feel this used data from last year since it mentioned Spotify limiting access / the list having slightly different picks from Wrapped ddd

Not "first-in-line-for-the-Chromatica-Oreos bad" DDD. Also I love that my "you listen to this too much" section features both a 19 year old song (Oh Baby) and a 3 day old one (Dreams Come True).
