Spotify's 'Your 2020 Wrapped'

Discussion in 'Pop & Justice' started by Triple S, Oct 17, 2020.

  1. My last.fm revealing this year is the least I've listened to music since opening the account in 2009 :(

  2. My Apple Music Year End stats (don’t @ me I’ve finally decided to switch in January):

    Artists
    1. Taylor Swift
    2. Phoebe Bridgers
    3. Laura Marling
    4. Sade
    5. Soccer Mommy

    Songs
    1. you should be sad - Halsey
    2. Held Down - Laura Marling
    3. august - Taylor Swift
    4. cardigan - Taylor Swift
    5. I Know the End - Phoebe Bridgers

  3. I just clocked that this is the first year (in however long Spotify have been doing this) that Britney wasn’t in my most played artists top 5. Not a single song of her’s even made my top 50 most played playlist. And to think last year she was my artist of the decade!

  4. Ugh Spotify I hate so much about the things that you choose to be...

  5. 1. Madonna
    2. Dua Lipa
    3. Bad Bunny
    4. Charli XCX
    5. Rosalía

I used quarantine to deep dive into Madonna's discography so I'm not surprised she smashed. I am surprised however by how high Rosalía is? She literally only released about 3 songs this year ddd... her power I guess.

  6. How do you access those graphics with your listening stats dddd? The 2020 wrapped page just takes me to the app and shows me a playlist or a slide show of Spotify's overall stats this year.

  7. Only works on your phone app, not desktop.

Rain On Me being my most played song with 66 plays is a bit suspect considering how many times I know I played Physical and the rest of the Dua album but I’m sure the difference isn’t much.

Electricity making it into my Top 100 three years in a row. Excellence!

  13. I'm on my phone! The link just opens the app up and shows me a playlist.

  14. I just posted the playlist from the iPhone app and it appears to be embedding. I know the image from the wrapped feature doesn’t?

also I just clocked that No Angel is on my chart for the 3rd straight year.

  15. You need to update the app to the latest version apparently. It's doing that for me as well.
