Has anyone recieved their vinyl? As going by H's instagram story there are thousands ready but they're more than likely for orders already placed. Stacking vinyls like that though, anxiety setting in.
Its doable with medleys. Was toying about with this idea; 1. What the Future Holds 2. Chain Reaction 3. 5, 6, 7, 8 / Better Best Forgotten (Medley) 4. To the Beat of My Heart 5. The Slightest Touch 6. Deeper Shade of Blue 7. Take Me for a Ride 8. Here and Now / You'll Be Sorry / To the One (Medley) 9. Under My Skin 10. It's the Way You Make Me Feel 11. When I Said Goodbye 12. Stomp 13. Neon Blue 14. Summer of Love / Better the Devil You Know / Love's Got a Hold on My Heart (Medley) 15. Heartbreak in This City 16. Wasted Tears 17. Say You'll Be Mine / After the Love Has Gone / Last Thing on My Mind (Medley) 18. One for Sorrow 19. Something in Your Eyes 20. Scared of the Dark 21. Tragedy
There’s 56 boxes of 13 vinyl (728) in the photo… I’m sure it probably felt like thousands to sign but it might not have actually been that many.
Is this anniversary sweatshirt new on their merch store or did I miss it? It’s up for pre-order for later this month.
That’s a pretty good set list (although I reckon we’ll get A Hundred Years of Winter and Heartbeat/ possibly in a medley with when I said goodbye and Under my Skin thrown in for good measure
Faye was miming Tragedy! So are we getting some digital bundle ala the Night In Night Out editions of part 1 at some point this week?
Oh I counted more boxes than that - my total was nearer to 1000 which I expect is probably about right.
I could actually see one or two medleys consisting of new album tracks only. I imagine full-length performances will rather be mostly of old hits and new singles.
I agree - medleys or shortened versions of new tracks is the way to go. Using a few as intros/interludes is a great way to incorporate them as well! I believe in Steve Anderson and I'm sure he will do a great job with whatever they have planned!
I could definitely see a couple or few Everything Taboo style medleys. Claire did say there is something they have never been done on this tour so I'm still really intrigued by that. I still want it to be styled as a What The Future Holds Tour. The idea of a "tacky greatest hits tour" is a bit of a no go for me.
I have once again streamed Part 2. Yes I still prefer Part 1. Yes it still could have had more Lee solo's. (And Lee in general) Yes it could have had slightly less H. And like Part 1 I do have my favourites yet can't properly rank them. Yes it still feels like a "collection of songs" and not a stand alone album in it's own right (but I don't blame Part 2 personally for this) Side note: The only track I could have done without is High, same goes with Don't You Leave Us Halfway on Part 1. However despite all that Part 2 and I have FINALLY clicked!
I loved the This Morning performances! It would be fantastic if they managed to get to #1, hopefully they can get the final push they need. I noticed it's been reduced to £4.99 on iTunes now as well if anyone 'needs' another copy...
