We do but it should have been on the Lisa CD too.
It was the edit on that CD by mistake.
They are basically rectifying that mistake.

 

But mp3 though? I know it's on the Afterparty Edition in lossless but you have to purchase that (I am sure most of us have). That's a little unfair. They should repress the CD as a lot people bought it with the intent of having a physical copy on a exclusive mix.

 

I suppose they can only do what they can do. Mistakes happen and it would be quite costly to resend out the CD's.

The Vamps have a worse fall from #1 than that - their 2020 album Cherry Blossom fell from #1 to #72!

 

I totally missed that. That's hilarious. Imagine not only owning that dishonourable chart record but then breaking it again.

£3 donated from a £25 price? That's cheeky.

 

Well at least offer it in WAV and not lossless only on Afterparty. It's a bit naughty but it could be rectified if we get a singles boxset. It's where I would want all the mixes anyway.

 

Didn't Celine Dion drop like a stone as well? Maybe that was only in the US.

I mean, I personally don't care because 1) 320 MP3 is good enough for me, and 2) I never listen to 12" mixes when I have the 7" mix anyway, but they screwed up and they should own it, cost be damned. Edsel sent out replacement copies of the many, many Belinda Carlisle CDs they borked up - and those were even pressed CDs, whereas these are (according to my computer) CD-Rs!

 

Steps fell out of the Irish Top 100 Albums in its second week - (fell from #22). Sad face.

I agree, they should repress the Lisa CD to give us the correct mix.

 

Indeed, her album unfortunately fell from #1 to #111 over there! Here in the UK it peaked at #2 but had quite a respectable 6 week run in the Top 20 (2-13-12-18-18-19).

I did a little more research about #1 falls in the UK. Ben Howard - 'Collections from the Whiteout' (March 2021) entered at #1 and then fell out of the Top 100 in week 2. 1-113! I'm not sure if that's the current record, or if anyone else has done worse than that.

Anyway relative to that, Steps were thankfully on course for a reasonable second week position.

 

As expected, the H Scott Alan song is tremendously dull.

 

I think it's meant to suit Scott's sound rather than Steps. It's nice to hear both him and Mark Feehily have songs on there, especially as gay dads.
