Steps - General Discussion

Slightest Touch EP is #11 on itunes. I know this is fairly normal (and means about 7 sales) and clearly the radio play has pushed the album back into the itunes chart this last week. Just think how big a hit this could've been with a proper push.

 

As long as they get radio support, there is not reason it can't do well. It's more about longevity rather than chart positions these days. It's unlikely to set the chart alight but it could hang around for a little while.

 

I still think there's something they're not telling us about why "The Slightest Touch" didn't get a proper campaign.
It's been danced around and they hyped the cover so much just to pay it dust when it's an obvious hit and stand out.
Such a pity.

 

Not sure there's much to tell, it probably wasn't intended to be a single but it was performing better than the lead single when it dropped before the album so they probably decided to ride that wave instead of going straight into another mid-tempo single with Winter. (As lovely s Ride and Winter are - I cannot for the life of me understand why they're STEPS singles back to back)

 

Hmm guys, I need some help. Did your order of the Pt 2 bundle including the signed insert come with the Pt. 2 insert? Because I’m looking at mine and it’s... Pt. 1. The Pt. 2 digibook is sealed so I doubt the signed insert is in there.

I don’t think it’s been danced around. The likelihood I’d imagine is that with Part 2 initially being meant to be a re-release the budget was probably only there for one video, to then stretch it to two is tough and then a third is unlikely. Especially when they had a lot of editions printed and released at slashed prices to drop like a stone sales wise after.

It should be in the sealed digibook

 

Anyone else having issues with AXS? I bought tickets to Leeds & Liverpool and paid £2.75 on both for delivery. They emailed me to 'print tickets myself' for Leeds!!!!! I've asked for a refund of the £2.75 but they won't do it for the Liverpool... absolute idiots.

Well, they’ve been rehearsing with fans so hopefully it’s happening.

 

I commented on one of H’s videos saying “I wonder what song the fans are for” (obviously hinting at Its The Way) and H replied with the shrugged shoulders Emoji, so I’d say it’s inevitable.

 

I’d be asking for a refund.

 

God yeah. No need to waste any set list time on thr filler tracks.

 

I honestly don't want fans for It's The Way You Make Me Feel. It looks messy when they're doing that with handheld mics, but I'm prepared for the inevitable!
