This is exactly what I want for the 25th!
A sort-of Take That Odyssey style Greatest Hits would be fun.
I wouldn't mind a disc of the studio version classics to appeal to casual fans and then a nice all singing, all dancing boxset for us lot with everything and Claire's kitchen sink.
I screenshot this discussion on twitter this afternoon and Steve Anderson « liked » it.
Last Thing On My Mind was certified Gold today
I can’t help but focus on how the first male dancer lip syncs ‘I’m THE deeper shade of blue’ every time I watch this.
Seems like Claire’s solo piano version of Deeper Shade of Blue has been deleted from the internet and it’s not available on non UK streaming services. Shame.
The acoustic version of One for Sorrow is still available and it’s magnificent.
"VCCP has recruited pop group Steps, who were big in those days and still have a retro appeal for millennials"
You can tell that article was written by a millennial from the first sentence: Both Steps and flip phones were nineties things, but noughties.
Do you think we'll have to wait until November for the 25th anniversary stuff to kick off?
How have other artists managed their milestones?
Considering their marking the summer tour as a 25th anniversary summer tour it seems they just consider 2022 the year?
I’d imagine something will happen around April/May time.
I’d say that the day they formed will be the day we hear something.
I’m going to need a Scottish date please!
I thought this too.
When is that anniversary date?
See you in Milton Keynes!
Seventh of May.
Some confirmation of details or plans may have happened online today in a Steps meeting.
