Still waiting for someone to do a mashup of Summer of Love with Ari's no more tears left to cry...
That's somewhat successful. Ari's vocals do work over the Steps instrumental. But the chorus is a nightmare with both sets of vocals. Just keeping the Steps backing vocals (the whoa's etc) would probably work nicely.
The chorus would probably work if there was an instrumental of Summer of Love available
So who went to Chelmsford City Racecourse? It's a 75 minutes setlist minus You'll Be Sorry, Here and Now, and After The Love Has Gone. The Chelmsford City Racecourse website says the show is 6-8 pm, so the remaining 45 minutes went to ... ?
Highlight:
Queen of the Huns thanking me (again) for traveling all the way from Southeast Asia as she recognised me from the front row. She thought I was from Hong Kong or Malaysia while in fact I'm from Indonesia - hilarious, bless her!
Lee said he had flown in from France just for the show and would be flying back to France again to be with his family for a holiday. Good Lee!
Faye spotted someone holding a poster that says something like "I just came out last month - thanks to Steps" and applauded her bravery. What a moment!
H's boyfriend was at the side of stage the entire time looking after H's children.

Why is it odd?
Promotional slots are so limited these days it'd be a waste of time having them on TV / Radio this week. Its not 1999, there aren't endless TV slots for them to appear on.
It's hardly like they've done a Saturdays and popped off on holiday on release week...
What would you be expecting them to be doing?
Does the revisited mixes include new vocal recordings? The blended backing vocal sound was so annoying back in the day. I love it when they use all their full vocals/harmonies in the mix.
i don’t think they cared to rerecord vocals.
