Why Louise, is that a song of hers?
Ah right thanks. Its sounds more like she's singing 'simple magic' - which would also make more sense. Can't remember anyone ever using the phrase 'Super Magic'
And they used an instrumental clip of To The One on the original tour advert. We were miss sold!
When I first heard the clip (without hearing the entire song), I got goosies and thought for sure it's going to be the second single or at least a contender for a single. What a killer opening!
It is an amazing song, but I’m not sure it would’ve worked as a single, because for me, it wasn’t instant, it was a definite slow burner.
Yes I agree with ya. It is a slow burner but that's what makes the song interesting in my book. It is Steps and not very Steps all at the same time. I would love to see them do these not-so-Steps-obvious tracks more often in the future. To The One, Take Me For A Ride, Under My Skin fall under this unique category.
I don’t agree with Under My Skin, but I like Take Me For A Ride. Not sure it deserved the video treatment it got, though.
The opening of To The One and Take Me For A Ride (the album version) probably constitutes like 50% of my fondness towards the songs already.
