- steps are on “well deserved break”
- will tour again
- Claire solo shows this summer
- Claire’s working on a “get on the dance floor” album
- hoping to tour
- light up the world vinyl release isn’t happening. Not sure anyone wanted it in the first place!

I wonder who she will release the second album through? I can't see another album through Sony as My Wildest Dreams definitely wouldn't have sold enough to satisfy a major. BMG would be the logical fit, or maybe TAG 8, the sub-BMG label that Louise/Blue are on? Either way, fantastic news and whilst the ballads were lovely, "get on the dance floor" is just what I want from Claire.

I’m sure Lee said recently they’d be back in the studio in 2024

He said in an interview that Steps were having a break in 2023, and would be talking about the future in 2024. I could definitely see a break until 2026-27 to align with "Steps 30" celebrations.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Blue Peter went through a phase at that point of having to have LIVE performances - it may explain why Summer of Love and Stomp didn't get a performance on it, and by the time they were back to Here and Now - Blue Peter had also reverted to the you can mime policy.

YES!!! Please join me in manifesting a cover of this banger by Kelly Marie, “Feels Like I’m In Love.”



I think it would suit Claire’s voice perfectly… It’s not been covered to death and could so use a 21st Century Popper’s O’Clock update.
Obviously a full sweet of remixes to go with it is essential, and get Mr Steve Anderson involved please and thanks!
