Steps

I must say, I'm extremely happy they've been so so successful - but I am really just thrilled they are all so close again and enjoying being together as a band.

Warms my heart after all they've been through.

It's the best thing of being Steps fans, something that not all 90's popgroup fan could have. After the bitterness of how Girls Aloud's ending, I choose carefully which group I would stan next, I don't want to be a fan of another group with fake friendship. Then I chose Super Junior that I believe their friendship (and their fight of each other) is real.

Now my life is better (I know, I'm exaggerate) watching my first ever fav group ever is back and shows that they're closer than ever!

Ladies, just listened to this beauty and all I have to say is that is far better than Pt.1 !
I think I’m of the same thinking. Might be because I played pt1 to death so I’ll need a few months with it to form a proper opinion. There’s no denying that the single choices for pt1 have been much better than the (technically) one single from pt2. They really just need to release and promote slightest touch. I love the backstage video but if they give it a push and get it on the radio and a proper video I’m sure it would shift another 4 copies. The (tiny) streams tell you what you need to know!

The highs on Part 1 are way, way stronger than anything on Part 2 (The Slightest Touch and Winter aside). Part 2 largely sounds made up of rejects from Part 1 (and even Tears) to me. But different strokes for different folks I guess, as long as we’re all bopping one way or another!

I agree with you there about the highs being higher! There’s an incredible album if you combine the highs (and mids) of both.

Well, some of the tracks from part 2 were originally meant to be on a deluxe edition of Part 1 and one of the tracks was being held back for the 25th. They decided to record some more tracks after the pandemic pushed everything back so I wouldn't be surprised if there were some reject tracks on here.

Same. It doesn’t sound like the actual lyric in the deluxe book “So kiss me tonight” at all.
I definitely thought it was ‘kiss me to li-i-i-fe’!

Had SUCH a good time meeting them in London yesterday! Lisa was super chatty, and Faye cheered the fact I was from Northampton! Have to agree that Lee seemed a bit ‘over it’, which was a shame, but he was still nice enough!

Got a couple of pictures and they signed my Steptacular and Buzz booklets too!

Edit: Also, in terms of the track list discussions, I have made a playlist of both albums mixed, so Part 1 Track 1, Part 2 Track 1, Part 1 Track 2, and so on… anyone on Apple Music feel free to give it a go. https://music.apple.com/gb/playlist/steps-what-the-future-holds-complete/pl.u-mD40t4K270

Does anyone else's additional remixes skip or is it just me?

Especially halfway through A Hundred Years Of Winter on H's CD.
And towards the end of To The Beat Of My Heart on Faye's CD?

And I also have (like all it seems) the wrong remix of Wasted Tears on Lisa's CD!

I've not got around to importing the CDs but it has been mentioned that the 7th Heaven Extended Mix of The Slightest Touch skips on Claire's CD as well. I think given the mistake of the wrong mix being on Lisa's CD too they should make all these mixes available on a digital Night Out edition this week and get another easy sale from us all again into the bargain!
